Let's say you're going to Disney World soon, where do you have to eat to make it feel like a Disney Trip?

My wife and I always have to visit Bistro de Paris (now Monsieur Paul. It will always be the Bistro to us...). We were married at WDW and the Bistro was where we had our first dinner after the wedding. We for our anniversary every year. This year will be our first visit since the change. We hope it will still be the nice quiet, romantic place it was!

We always eat at Sunshine Seasons ~ usually multiple times. And the last 2 times we have gone, we have made it a point to eat at Via Napoli ~ mostly for the Zeppoli dessert. And we pretty much always eat at Flame Tree BBQ

I searched in vain for a restaurants of WDW thread. I'm sure we've discussed this at length but I'm not sure where. Anyway, here are our family favorites:

Table Service:
'Ohana - two years! Was better in 2010 than in 2012.
Boma - new addition in 2012. Loved it.
Le Cellier - before it was two credits
Teppan Edo
Mama Melrose - had a really good meal there in 2012, but hubby's entree was a little small. Good thing I couldn't finish all mine!

Counter Service:
Pecos Bill's - Love the "fixins bar"
Tomorrowland Terrace, because there's something for everyone
Sunshine Seasons
Flame Tree BBQ
My stepdad likes ABC Commissary at DHS because they allow you to refill your soda cup. Food is fine, standard. :)
I personally loved the Morocco Pavilion quick-service location for lunch. I can't remember its name. The food is good.
Polynesian 1980
All-Star Movies 2001
Pop Century 2008
Saratoga Springs 2010
Bay Lake Tower 2012
Hyatt Place Anaheim Resort/Convention Center 2015
Marriott Anaheim Suites 2016

For my family, we are always on the go, so it's fast service for us. So ours would be:

Flame Tree BBQ ( We are from Texas and love our BBQ  )
Pecos Bill
And snack carts along the way. :D
I always say I want to try new things, but never do. LOL

Tangierine Café ~ we ate there last time for the first time and really enjoyed it! Tons of food and a great value for a quick service meal on the dining plan!

I HAVE A QUESTION.

We would like to try 50's Prime time at DHS this time round. We like the look of the menu plain but good however I am a bit concerned about the interaction of the cast members. Has anyone eaten here and knows the Protocol.

That's one that Len and his family always seem to go to...and Len always gets in trouble! I think the CMs are as interactive as you want them to be here. If you are wanting to play along, you will have a great time. If you are looking to just have the old fashioned food and not have to eat all your veges and keep your elbows off the table, I think the CMs are sensitive to that as well. Sounds like it is more fun if you play along though! :D

Yes, Amy is correct. From our experiences anyway, the CM will pick up on whether you want to interact or not. And we've had some that really don't get into character either. We dined here 2 years ago and the food was average.

-Big River Grille at the BoardWalk (I know, not a Disney restaurant, but on property and in the best location for catching the top of the Epcot fireworks during dinner)
-Beaches N Cream-
-Cosmic Ray's
-Flame Tree BBQ
No one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining.
