I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it! Husband asked if we could go to DW in the fall!! This fall!! Oh, yeah! That's not much time.. oh,my... what to do, what to do, first.. I guess set dates.. oh, and wish for free dinning.

Free dining should happen hopefully. How exciting!!

Hey, Wannabe! Congratulations on your upcoming trip, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for free dining to become available! Disney just released a 10-30% off room only offer from mid-June to mid-August, with the booking date up on June 13th. That'd be a good date to circle on your calendar for a possible Free Dining release.

If you'd like any help making reservations for your stay or dining, I'd be happy to help out. (You're fast approaching the 180-day window for dining reservations, if you aren't already past it!) Also, should you book, I would automatically apply the best deal to your reservation as soon as its released to make sure you're paying the least amount possible for your trip. Congrats wdwannabe on getting a trip. I personally would immediately try to get a rough idea on the dates you will be there and start working on your dinner reservations. A lot of places do book up and you really do need to have those reservations made six months in advance. As for the free dining, you can book your room now and place the deposit on it. If the promotion comes out you can just call up Disney and have them modify your reservation for the free dining deal.

Thank you all! No firm dates yet. I need some down time to look at dates and see what is best. I don't think Disneyland offers any type of free dinning offers. I know I need to work on date and adr's now. Been out of the Disney loop on what is going on and what is new. Got my podcast list started, and message boards a humming.

Anyone live in Florida that has been to DL? What do you usually pay for airfare? We are thinking about going in late October around Halloween time.

Well, this trip has been axed. Don't know when we will go now. My mom passed away in July, and now I am full time care giver to my dad, who isn't in the best of health. So, that is that. But, will eventually go.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Pixie Dust and and cyber hugs to you!!! Stay positive, I know, easier said than done at times. Disney isn't going anywhere though, and when you are able to return, it will be so very special.

So sorry, wannabe. That's so hard. Remember to take a break from care-giving from time to time, and ask for help from your siblings, friends, and other extended family. You can't help your dad if you're not healthy. Hang in there. We'll send prayers and pixie dust your way.
