Wish we were going to be there during this time as well! ;)

Have an extra glass of wine for me!

The listing of booths is available with the wonderfulness that each one will be serv ing. Is there anything that catches your eye? I haven't had the chance to look through all of them yet, but what I have seen so far... it's going to be an expensive trip for me!

I got an email today from Chase that offers access to a special lounge during the Food & Wine festival. Just in case any of you are Disney Visa cardholders but don't get the emails...I wish I could go and take advantage of the offer :D
As a Disney’s Visa® Cardmember, you’ll receive access to the Chase Lounge during the Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival presented by Chase. The Festival runs from September 28 to November 12, 2012.

This private location gives you and your Guests a chance to
rest and relax and enjoy a refreshing beverage during the Festival. Be sure to visit the Lounge to find out about special benefits you can receive throughout the Festival.

I've only done Japan and Terra so far and it cost me $17 to do both, this including alcohol at each booth. Terra is REALLY cool, I didn't even notice it was VEGAN food till I looked at the menu, you'd never know that curry chicken isn't a real chicken.

Ooh enjoy the festival. when I lived in Orlando I of course would go a couple of times...

A few pointers if it isn't too late... come hungry, and get one of the cards you can put money on and then scan at the booths, like a prepaid credit card.. that way you only spend a certain amount of money. going to the booths it is easy to spend A LOT and not realize it.

Also, dont stop at every booth, pace yourself, you can always go back you don't wanna get too full before you reach the end and you have to miss something yummy.

That happened to me quite a bit. Thankfully I could just come back another day.

Is there any discount when you do the prepaid card thingie? And is there a list of all the snacks at the booths available in the park? Then you could sort of plan ahead on which booths you want to stop at :D

No discount. :( But there is a brochure listing everything.

I will say this... if you're on the DDP I wouldn't plan on doing much eating at the F&WF, unless you save meal credits for a day other than the day you go to Epcot. If you eat a typical QS lunch, and TS dinner in Epcot, you won't be hungry enough for much of the F&WF stuff. If we go again during this event, I don't think we'll do the DDP for this very reason. That's a big IF though.

Ah, just the convenience of not having to scrounge up cash each time then. I've heard people use their DDP snack credits for the booths. That would be a good use of your credits, but I can see how it would be difficult trying to taste very much if you've eaten a meal. They give you so much food there!

No, unfortunately there isn't a discount with the pre-pay but it helps not having to carry cash or use our card too much and you can put a certain amount on the car so you wont overspend, if the card is empty you dont eat any more.

And yes, there are lists of each booth and what is there at allears.net I believe.

Yes, in hindsight, I would have suggested to my family that we keep one evening free of an ADR to go to Epcot and use our snack credits at the little booths. As it was, we were in the little market at Contemporary loading up on our unused snacks because of the early hour we had eaten dinner. Hubby and I will, in the future, make our ADR's a little later so we feel free to get snacks on the things we want to try in the park, rather than holding off so as not to spoil our appetites. I should probably put this in my trip report. I should probably finish my trip report, too.
