And since I've been in a piratical mood as of late, here's a drawing I whipped up (from a couple months ago)

Can you guess which MK ride is my favorite?

Starting to make dining reservations today so I have to select a restaurant or two that I really would enjoy. The first one that came to mind was Le Cellier. I thoroughly enjoyed our meal there this past trip. If anyone has any other suggestions, feel free to throw them my way. Are there any top notch, delicious destinations in the World Showcase that ISN'T Le Cellier or the Japanese steak house?

EDIT: A strictly World Showcase restaurant isn't necessary, feel free to name off any that come to mind.

odyssey, their burgers were freakin awesome!... but, since you probably want a restaurant that is still open... via napoli is the newest rest in the WS, and is worth the money IMHO...

Teppan Edo in Japan is amazing. Like dstrawn said, Via Napoli is great too. Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of the best buffets (if not the best) on property. Whispering Canyon Cafe. Coral Reef if you can get a table close to the aquarium wall.

We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

I throw my vote in for Via Napoli ~ very good, very thin, authentic Italian pizza. But the menu item not to be missed is the Zeppoli for dessert. Little fried balls of heaven accompanied by lush chocolate sauce and fresh whipped cream ~ soooooo good! :D

Hahaha yes, I can attest to all of the above, except for Via Napoli. The good news is I'll be staying at the Beach Club (or Yacht club, i forget) so I can go in and out of the world showcase whenever! I'm also really stoked to be across from the Boardwalk as it seems very lively at night!

I vote highly for Tepan Edo and Boma.

Three years ago (almost) we had a good meal at Chefs de Paris, but I wouldn't say outstanding. Same can be said for our dinner at Coral Reef in 2008.

We ate at San Angel Inn, and my sister and I thought it was good but not outstanding. Hubby says he thought it was good. I don't remember anyone RAVING about it.

Are you looking for a dinner in or near Epcot?

I guess not necessarily right in Epcot. We're at the yacht and beach club, meaning we'll be within walking distance of Epcot and the Boardwalk.

Well I wonder what the reviews of Flying Fish Cafe are like. I bet Len's been there at least once.
