Awesome Thanksgiving trip only runners could love!

Our family will be taking a major trip to WDW over Thanksgiving with 12 of us in total and 4 generations. One of the highlights of the trip is Space Coast Marathon at Cocoa, FL during the trip. Yes, there will be a few of us that run heading over EARLY in the morning to run and earn our Space Shuttle finisher's medals. So awesome!!!!!

That sounds awesome ~ please post a photo of the medal when you finish...I would love to see it!!

That is really cool! I am hoping to get back into distance running shape. I'm running in a 15k next month...and hopefully in a Half Marathon in February. After that...we'll see if I can bump up the mileage enough to try the 2013 WDW Marathon.

I do want to see your finisher's medal though...once you get it.

That's so awesome! Our friend, Tim, who will be with us in Jan. to run the Disney Marathon did the Space Coast Marathon 2 years ago and LOVED it! The medal was cool too! ENJOY!

I will certainly post a photo once I get it. My hope is in 2012 I can earn the Disney Coast to Coast medal with running Princess end of February and then Disneyland Half Labor Day weekend. Three medals earned for two races. Awesome!!!

I don't know and it would be interesting to see how many do earn the Coast to Coast medal.
