Kind of cheesey but if there's a birthday between now and then you could always incorporate that into a gift or something ... Maybe a scavenger hunt that ends up with something very Disney Worldish ... Again, cheesey, I know ... but hey! Its Disney!

These are all such great ideas! I don't know if I'd ever be able to keep it a secret, we always have a countdown as soon as the trip is booked.

Do it when you approach the first bus stop!

Had some friends of ours go to a local Pizzaria.... and asked them to make a pizza in the shape of the famous
Mickey head. Then they had it delivered and told her that dinner would be a clue to where they were going for
vacation. :) Cute Cute

I've got a good one from the news the other day. An iphone owner sent a text message to his daughter that read:
iphone owner wrote:Your mother and I are going to Disney next month.
However, as many iphone owners know, that the auto-correction can be quite pesky sometimes, and his did not recognize "Disney" as a word and substituted with some word that had to be randomly picked:
iphone owner wrote:Your mother and I are going to divorce next month.
Needless to say, the college-aged daughter was freaked out by the text. Imagined how surprise she was to find out in the end it was really a Disney trip?

She might have been mad since she wasn't invited. :D

Don't know about your local television markets, but over Christmas, our television stations were running commercials for WDW in which a set of parents surprised their kids on Christmas morning by saying, "We're going to Disney World today. We're on a plane in 2 hours."

Ever since then, I'm breathlessly awaiting the moment I can re-create that with my own kids.

She never got the divorce message, not the Disney message - thanks the Apple's auto-correction on the iphone.

Sorry, I had the word "never" in there and it shouldn't be there - and I can't blame iphone auto-correct for that! Thanks for posting that! I had only heard it reported on the news, but they didn't have those graphics.

That would be hillaroius if the wrong kid picks it up... wait that gives me an idea.

I need a zodiac, 300 bottles, and 300 notes that say "Surprise! Mom and dad are taking you to Disney World!".
