...I will be eating lunch at Club 33 on Monday, February 14th. Valentine's Day.

My wife and I have a close friend whose company has a membership. She got us a reservation for five: me, my wife, my parents, and herself. I'm incredibly stoked and I plan on taking copious photos and will be happy to share afterwards.

I'm sure there are people in the SSR community who have eaten at 33. Any suggestions/comments?

Yep, I tried to hold back the jealousy too....didn't work

While I don't have any suggestions as I've never stepped foot into DL to even see the elusive door, I agree with everyone else: LOTS OF PICTURES PLEASE! And if you can, a few of the menu.

The food is usually better when they aren't doing the buffet (friend of mine has a membership), avoid soft drinks, I think they are too sweet. They tend to overcook the beef (at least the times I've gone) so you may want to order a bit rarer if you don't go past medium.

It never hurts to just do the tasting menu with the wine pairing, club 33 is no french laundry but it's still good.

If he could sneak everyone on this site who wanted to go, I think he would be having difficulty trying to get 3 dozen of us past the front door ...
