I was fortunate enough to be able to visit Disneyland Paris as part of a once in a lifetime trip around the world that I took in 2003. Given the fact that it was a little over 7 years ago when I went, most of the trip report will be told through photos

I visited DLP in September of 2003.
Here is the train station mindflipper has mentioned. It literally does drop you off right at the entrance to DLP!


Directly opposite the train station is the entrance to the park...


The Disney hotel is right at the entrance of the park!


I think this is truly one of the most beautiful of the Disney castles! And it has interesting landscaping too...

What is the weather like there during September? I remember in July it would be warm during the day but at night the wind would make it very cold.

It was sort of like our Midwestern Septembers, cool during the day, but warm enough for either shirtsleeves or a light jacket, and then a little cooler at night.

Similar when I was there in late August - mildly warm in the day, little cooler at night. But I never needed a jacket.

Wow, Amy, those are gorgeous photos there! One of my friends recently went to DLP in the summer but I didn't get photos so this is nice to see.

Amy, I notice the pic of the train station. Did you take the Eurostar into the station, or the RER-A from Paris?

Hmmm, good question. I took a ferry from Ireland over to France, so I think it would have been the RER-A. Sorry, that would be something I would have to go back and look up. I know I was on the bullet train at some point in Japan though

I have my RER-A pass next to my DLR ticket as a souvenir.

One of my Mom's favorite attractions is Dumbo, so I took a spin on the flying pachyderm for her!

Alice's Curious Labyrinth (and associated restaurant) was closed for refurb while I was there. A shame, as it looked fun!

Peter Pan's Flight had some awesome fiber optic lighting...

It's a Small World reminded me a lot of Disneyland in California...

Right down to the outside canals...

I skipped Fantasyland attractions as I was trying to cover the rides that were different from the USA. Now I wish I did ride Pete Pan for that fiber optic effect. I did like the fact that DLP's IASW had the USA as one of the counties inside it.

Not only did it have USA, it didn't have Woody and Jessie in it! I do have some IASW photos, I'll have to sift through and see what isn't too blurry. Much like at DL and WDW, the low light levels trip me up in there

No, DLP's IASW has yet to suffer "toonification" like TDL and DLR. I haven't been on WDW's IASW, has it suffered "toonification" yet?

Nope ~ no toons have invaded. I do wish they would do the holiday overlay though, I like the music for that
