They are doing the Dive Quest in 2012. Maybe you could come down for that? It really was fun.

When we get closer to Jan 2012 and they finalize the date of their Dive Quest, I might just do that!

Thanks guys! And thanks M-dude for posting more!!!! We loved having you and Mouseoholic there, we felt so special!
Would love to have you there mindflipper and anyone that is interested?! We plan to dive either the Mon or Tues after the races. It would be way too hectic during race weekend. We will most likely do the 5:30 dive. We have found that the 4:30 is way too crowded.

Well Mindflipper it seems you may just have to take a few days off of work and stay until Tuesday =)

I have a nice itinerary sketched out to keep you busy until the dive if that would help

There are too many variables at this time to figure out so I will have to see wait I can do closer to the time...

Always the smart approach... you gotta have a "Plan A", "Plan B", etc...

Some variables are a bit unpredictable at this time. They are beyond any mortal control.

We might move the dive to Mon. now b/c one of our divers has to fly home on Tues! My cousin that is running the Goofy was concerned about being sore and diving, I told him not to worry, we could just pull him around the tank!

Nah, the water will be soothing to the sore muscles anyhow right?

Warm water, maybe - but the water in that tank is a bit cold. As I remember from the last summer Olympics, the swimmers wear those heavy parkas and use the warm water pool in order to prevent muscle cramping.

You are correct mindflipper. The water in the tank is a bit chilly at 72 and they only provide shorty suits, 3ML which is a bit thin. So, after about 10 mins. I start to shiver! It's times like those that I wish I had my 7ML dive suit that we use in the great lakes! Warm water is more soothing, you had the right train of thought Amy!

Oh, I didn't realize the fishies were kept in cold water
I've only snorkeled and dived in St. John and Australia so it was always plenty warm where I was
Tell him he has to bulk up a bit and then he'll have some built in insulation
Although he might not like dragging around a few extra pounds on the marathon portion of the trip
