College Program #2- 2 months and counting!

Post by Soarin08 » Oct Sun 17, 2010 2:57 am

:)

Long story, so shall I tell it??

I applied for my 2nd CP in August... I got a crap interviewer who totally screwed me over. She didn't understand my school's academic calendar and therefore, I ended up being rejected.

Well, I knew, especially after talking to all my managers at Saratoga, that there was NO REASON Disney would have rejected me short of an error on BYU Idaho's end. Reinterveiwed about 3 weeks ago and got the acceptance email on the 11th of October. Full service food and beverage! I won't know exactly where till I get down on 10 January 2011, though.

So main question, who'll be down between 10 January and 15 April of next year? I have yet to meet any of you guys and I'd love to.

But for now, this is the thread to count down when I'll be back and just hang with everyone.... I have no time to be on anymore, which SUCKS. :(

But at least I'm here now!

Congrats Soarin! That's really exciting. We won't be down there at that time though.

If DW and I can find a way down there while her school is on Spring Break in March...we will definitely be there! The only downside to her being a teacher and getting Christmas, Spring Break, and Summer off...is that those are the only times she can be off.

Yeah, that would be fun.
Hey, whatever happened to your pal Hockeygirl? She never did post a trip report for us after her "pre-surgery Disneyland bash."

Congrats Soarin! I hope you'll be able to check in with us during your stint in the CP to let us know how it's going!!! Unfortunately, we won't make it during the time you are there...if we are able to go at all next year, it would be toward the end of the year.

Congrats there! I have been debating about trying the college program out but considering I've been at a community college for almost five years (going on four right now), I don't know if I'd even be eligible.

One of my best friends was the first person to do a CP from his community college. I know it's possible.

Really? Is there a limit to how long you have to be in school for to do it? All I know is that they want one semester done and to be currently enrolled.

I'm not sure. I'm out of the loop when it comes to the college program. Try the website or see if there's going to be a recruiting session near you.
