That sounds like a fun time to go. Too bad you can't come a little earlier for the Mayhem Dole-Whip meet-upAkyriel wrote:Going to Orlando December 29th - January 5th for New Year's. Wished Adventurer's Club and Mannequins was still at PI

You sir are nuts. That is the busiest time of the year period Although it does sound cool that you will get to see New Years Fireworks, I hear they are the best.

One of my piano families went last year for New Year's Eve. They showed me some pictures and video they took of the fireworks show. The crowds were horrific but the show looked totally amazing!!Dr. Ravenscroft wrote:You sir are nuts. I think it was would be amazing to be at Disney for NYE, minus the crowds, of course!
Hope you have a wonderful time, sorry you can't make the Dole Whip meet though.

January 3rd - January 8th
Okay changed to January 3rd - January 8th. Not only was it better for me to make the trip, but my rental car plunged from $800 per week to only $217 per week

Wow! That is worth changing the trip dates alone!Akyriel wrote:Okay changed to January 3rd - January 8th. Not only was it better for me to make the trip, but my rental car plunged from $800 per week to only $217 per week

Make sure you get into the park really early, we were there for NYE 2000 and they were turning people away at 8am if they did not already have tickets.
We got into MK which is were we wanted to be but EPCOT was already full and we were told that if we left a park we would not be able to get back in. Of course this could just be because of the year.

Wow! That is surprising but it probably did have a lot to do with it being NYE 2000! I can't imagine the crush of people in the parks on that daySleepy90 wrote:Make sure you get into the park really early, we were there for NYE 2000 and they were turning people away at 8am if they did not already have tickets.

Since he's not there now at NYE, it's a moot point for discussion.
Akyriel: which parks to you plan to go to? Planning any side trips to USO or Sea-World?
