Different markets, different sales approach

I have looked at the "free" dining offers and compared the offer in the UK to the one in the US and see that they are very different indeed.
I understand that in the US the offer runs until Sep / October and includes all of the hotel classes. In the UK it runs until December 17th and value resorts get nothing, moderate get the QS plan and deluxe resorts get the full plan. It's fair enough IMO as the UK and the US are different markets and Disney can sell to them as they see fit.
What I was disappointed with when I looked was that in the UK site POFQ was fully booked for the first two weeks in December but the US site is still showing availability. I called Disney to clarify this and, as I suspected, the 2 sites get their own inventory of rooms and when they are gone, that's it. So, woe is me, if we do go for those two weeks then we may be "forced" to upgrade to Old Key West, or Saratoga Springs
