We just got back from Disneyland a couple days ago and had an AMAZING time, our best DL trip ever!

We stayed in the "Dreams" tower of the Disneyland Hotel, the crowds weren't bad AT ALL, Toy Story Midway Mania was AWESOME, we won Dream FastPasses , had awesome meals at SteakHouse 55, Goofy's Kitchen which was relocated to the pretty Magic Kingdom Ballroom due to "technical difficulties" in the regular restaurant. We didn't have a great experience at Napa Rose, but all in all it was a wonderful trip.

Ooh, sounds like you had a blast. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the Toy Story Mania. I have yet to try that out myself and I might get a chance this Friday.

I am so excited i just can't stand it! I am having my ultimate dream trip (and I am going by myself!!!!!) - I have a conference in Vegas for a few days and before the keynote speaker puts down his microphone I will be on a plane to DL (my first time!!!!). After spending 3 days there I will immediately hop on ANOTHER plane and finish off my trip at (you guessed it!) WDW in florida (only 2 days there - but i spend so much time there I know exactly what I am going to do) - Does anyone have any tips for a DL first timer?
