I have a lot of clients who were able to take advantage of this deal. Great deal - but it's gonna be packed!

Steve,
Do you really think it's going to be packed? Do you think it's going to sell out? We took advantage in 2006 with this offer and had a great time.

We booked our last night. And what is the defination of "packed"? This offer is already during value season and I thought that that ment the parks would have the fewest number of people. Even if the promotion works and brings more people into the parks I can't believe it will be more crowed than during the regular season and certainly not like the time we went during hoiday season!

I"m booked! I went last year and it was great! much like a normal May visit. not really crowded. but enough people to have some waits. worth it!

It can get crowded. I was there when they offered the free dining plan to overseas guests. It was like being in England everywhere we went. I had a great time anyway.

The only thing I could see waiting for is dinning. Get those resies in! Especially if you want the most popular ones.

We've had trips overlap the Free Dining the three or so years they've offered it. As long as you have your ADRs done in advance you'll be fine. Just like a previous poster mentioned it WAS NOT packed! Alot of people wait and go as close to the beginning of F&WF as possible and even then it wasn't that bad.

Great advice! It's not that packed but you might see a few more people because of the promo.

WHAT!! Never heard of free dinning!

It usually is a promo that they run late aug thru end of sept. You book a package room and tickets(ifyou have annual you need a one day pass) and you tellthem the code and they add free basic dinning the one for around $36. Then book you ressies! One counter service one sit down or save a sit down and get a two credit resturant. And one snack per day of stay. Check out All Ears or The mouse for less web site and it's front page for more details. I've also heard this year they will let you book delux dinning for additional price..that's three sit downs a day.

Hope this helps you with the basics.

It may not be "packed," but it is more crowded than it would be otherwise at that time. That's the whole reason Disney does the promotion...to get people to fill the parks in times they otherwise would not go.

We passed on Free Dining this year. We did it last year and had a lot of fun. But, this year we want to go back to our more traditional WDW trips (that, and I don't want to take a month-old baby). And we're going in December...I love Christmastime at WDW!

We went during free dining last year in September. It seemed to only impact ADRs and not really wait times for attractions. Still, I would not go to the park that has EMH (or whatever they call it these days) on any given day.
