I'll be taking my first visit to California Adventure next weekend. It's spring break which means it might be a bit crowded. I was wondering which rides have the longest wait time for the queue. I plan to be there early in the morning when the park first opens and want to do the rides with a long wait first. Any other advice would be appreciated too.
Thanks

Soarin' over California usually has the longest wait there. Then I believe it's California Screamin', Mullholland Madness, the Grizzly River Run (it was an hour the last time I was there), and possibly the Tower of Terror. If you go early in the morning, you won't have a problem hopefully.

I would expect the lines to go something like this (from longest to less long):
1. Soarin' Over California
2. California Screamin'
3. Tower of Terror
4. Grizzly River Run
5. Monsters, Inc.
6. Mulholland Madness
The rest should be negligible, or at least, always have been for me.

Is it really Spring Break in April? Our schools always have it around the 2nd week of March. That's about halfway through our Jan-May semester.

Screamin' and Tower may have one of the longest lines, but they also move quickly. Soarin and Mullholland and GRR seem to move the slowest- at least that's what I recall.

My sisters' spring break is this week. Mine isn't until April 14th because we started our spring semester in mid-February.

How was your trip? i'd love to hear what you thought as a first timer! Did you do a TR somewhere?

It was great - thanks for asking! The highlight for me was probably getting to see the Electrical Parade after not seeing it for many years. But I also enjoyed everything else at California Adventure. I was most impressed with Disney's ability to move so many people through the lines so quickly. They really do a good job at designing rides with a high guest capacity.
I thought a few of the rides at DCA were a little cheesy - the big Orange swing ride, the Golden Zypher ride, Maliboomer, and even the Mulholland Madness ride. My favorites were California Scream'n, Tower of Terror, and Soarin.
My only complaint is that I only had two days! I can't wait to go back.
