Hruskocy Trip 10/26-11/3/07

Post by boilerbabe » Dec Sun 02, 2007 10:15 pm

We've been back for a little while now, it was kinda hard for me to come back to the site. I miss WDW, our trip was fantastic, not sure when we'll be back again?! We went for my dad's 60th birthday and it was mine and my husband's 1st Anniversary! We did Dive Quest in EPCOT and ran the Tower of Terror 13K! It was a very memorable vacation. My cousin and best friend were also along with us.

Image
This was right after Dive Quest! I would recommend this to anyone that is a certified scuba diver! It was amazing! Wish the dive would've lasted longer! 45 mins. seemed like 5! (Left, my dad Center, ME Right, Steve, my cousin)

Image
This was before the race started! It was the Inaugural Tower of Terror 13K (8.1 miles) Our race bibs and TOT shirts were glow in the dark. Including our finisher medals! This race course took us to the Wide World of Sports Complex then back towards MGM, through MGM and the finish was behind the TOT. Besides the Disney Half, this race was my favorite! My dad, cousin, best friend and myself ran. My mom and husband were race crew.

My dad and I after the finish!

We had to get a picture with the Bell Hop!!!

Here is my Disney Husband with his first pair of Mouse Ears!

I will post a few more pictures tomorrow!!!

Wow, thanks for sharing! Those shirts and medals rock!

That bellhop was actually a former-cast member of mine when I was working at the Studios. I had no idea he was still there.

Yes, beautiful w/o the wand spaulo! I like the original look!!! I will post a few more pics. tomorrow. Thanks everyone!

Esmeralda, you could do a run! Or you could even walk/run! Anyone that finishes a Disney race gets a medal. We just happen to some of those crazies that enjoy distance running!!! I'm a veteran to road races and Disney puts on the BEST races anywhere! They have been the most "magical" races I've ever done. The miles fly by when we run Disney!!!! So, if you ever feel up to the challenge, that's the place to do it! If you ever need tips on running, just let me know. I work in the fitness industry for a living. :D

Here's a few more pics!

I took this one right after we came out of Dive Quest!

This one was at the entrance of MK

This pumpkin was the winner from the contest at the Polynesian.

Where we stayed at the Poly!

We didn't have the best weather! We wanted to watch the fireworks from the beach at the Polynesian. My dad and husband weren't going to give up their spots, even though it was pouring!

One of my all time favorite shots!

wow, that's an awesome shot of the Tower! Very ominous. Makes me very jealous, as I'm a west coaster and haven't been to WDW in about 15 or so years.
