Disneyland trip report Aug.25-Aug 31

We spent 8 days at disneyland and the trip is all kinda a blur. So I'll try to hit some of the highlights and if I forget anything I'll add it later.
We arrived on Friday very late after a very long drive around 10 pm. We originally planned on arriving on Sat. but during the drive decided to drive straight through. So everyone was excited that the park was still open and we went over. We all ate kids meals from tomorrowland terrace and felt a little funny ordering nothing but kids meals but they were plenty big enough for a late meal. The first ride we did was Alice in wonderland since we seem to always forget to do that one. I think we only had time for one more ride before closing so we went to pirates.
Now for just highlights of the trip:
Indianna Jones was going to close on Tuesday of our trip so we made sure to hit that a couple of times. When it reopened on Friday (our last day) we made sure to ride it again and found that it seemed as though they had totally cleaned the hallways and everything it smelled so fresh in there. But bye evening on our last ride people had already stuck gum to the halls.
My daughter and I got a private boat on Pirates when we went first thing in the morning and that was wonderful.
We did Tarzan treehouse early in the week but on our last Friday noticed it was closed and there were cast members looking up at it. We looked up and there was a swarm of bees all over at the top of the tree right by the bridge. It never reopend that day.
We caught the electric parade and fantasmic on the first weekend we were there as they were not going to be going the rest of the week. I must say that it was nice to not have fantasmic going during the week. It made getting through New Orleans much easier.
We went to the tiki room during the fireworks and had the whole thing to ourselves. It was so neat!
We won dream fastpasses and they were very handy. I was very excited since this was our second week at disneyland this summer and we finally won.
The crowds were very heavy I'd have to say wed. and Thur. were the least crowded days.
The weather just got hotter as the week progressed and by friday it was over 100 degrees.
I know it seems like a long time at disney but we just like to park the car at the motel and spend the vacation either at the park or relaxing by the pool. We had a great time.
I know this is kind of a disorganized report but as I said after a whole week there it is all kind of a blur.
