I'm sorry to hear that Figment was so limited in what she could do.
Of course, I wouldn't really know much about what's available at Universal. I have no interest at all in going there, for some reason.

Yeah. We were both a bit interested as it had been so long since we had been. And we did enjoy the studio tour, and I'm happy to have experienced the Harry Potter ride, but the interest and background knowledge just isn't there for universal like it is for Disney

Universal was today, and it was nice, but very little that Figment could experience. She would have liked the animal actors show but we didn't time everything correctly to get to see that one. So she got to go on the studio tour and experience Shrek 4D but that was all.

This surprises me. Can you elaborate? Are the queues or rides such that she cannot access them? Or were they all too intense for her to tolerate? Curious because Figment is definitely a theme park kind of gal and her not being able to do much surprises me. And makes me feel bad that you spent a day there and she just kind of sat around and watched.

I believe everything was accessible, but yes, too intense for what she could tolerate. Even the studio tour was really too much for her in the King Kong section. The other shaker table sections weren't overly rough, but that one made me a bit worried as she was on the end of a row and my brother was enjoying the ride more than watching to be sure she was staying put in the tram
Most of the attractions are either simulators, roller coasters, or shaker tables. I'll have to look at the map to be sure what else she could have seen. But we sort of knew that coming in that she wouldn't do a lot there. We were both surprised there wasn't a little more though

Somehow I think you'll get it sorted out. "Needing" to focus on your next Disney trip is a nice problem to have.

DLP's having its 25th Anniversary this year, so of course I'm going to visit
