As much as I'd like to post "1" today, I can't. Due to the events in Paris on Friday and Disneyland Paris being closed until Tuesday, we've decided to cancel the trip.

I called Disney this morning to find out what our options are and they are giving unconditional full refunds to affected guests. Air France are giving vouchers valid for a year for flights booked up until Monday, so fortunately we're not losing much other than the cost of the travel insurance and the airport parking we'd pre-booked (which it's too late to cancel at this point).

It's a shame, but given the current circumstances around Paris/France, it's understandable. We'll just have to look at booking again another time.

So sorry to hear you had to cancel ~ definitely a sad time in Paris and very nice that Disney and the airlines are being so accommodating to their affected guests. Hope you will be able to reschedule fairly soon when things settle down.

I just got back from WDW. Very sad that the trip is over. Now I need to schedule another!

My travel agency owner just offered me a free 2 day park hopper to DL so I think I must sneak down for two days in Dec!

That would be great if you were able to go during the same time a lot of us will be down there ~ that's great that you will get to see the Osborne Lights at least one last time

DL not WDW. No lights for me. But also probably not going to happen now...in the few hours since I posted, I've accepted a new foster child. It's a short placement as an adoptive family has been identified but has not finished their licensing yes so I'm stepping in, ever so briefly (30-45 days) but that means no leaving the county.

Oh, skipped right on over that DL part Congrats on the new placement. Even if it is a short term one, it should be great knowing you are helping transition them to their new home. And that park hopper will still be there for you when they've moved on to their new family!

Wow ~ less than two months. It really does go quickly doesn't it?

9 for us ~ sort of glad tomorrow is one more day off work so I can get a few things done for the trip. Love seeing my family for the Thanksgiving holiday but really need to get some things done before we are ready to go!!
