Packing starts tonight...as well as packing for our kids so they can stay with grandparents. Sadly, it will take more energy and effort to pack our kids' stuff for them to stay a few miles away than to pack DW and myself up for a trip to WDW.

I wonder if that will happen with the Magic Bands too ~ I could see where people would want to upgrade for a lower cost than purchasing them outright.
The joy of packing for children. I'm sure they will have a great time with their grandparents and vice versa.
Do you have to work all 3 days before your trip? Your time will fly by for sure!

Yep...working all 3 days this week.

Next week I am off for Labor Day and also that Friday...so I will have two 3-day weeks in a row.

I am literally useless right now.

Me too... and I don't have a trip planned. I'm just ordinary useless now. TOTALLY understand the kids' packing thing. Would probably be easier to have someone come stay with the kids. It's like being a teacher and being sick. Less work to just go to work and stick it out than prepare for a sub. Why are children so daggone complicated?

I decided to start collecting all colors of Magic Bands instead of always getting my favorite color green! This time I opted for Red...so the goal is to get one of every color for myself.

Nice! That is what I'd like to do...but I don't know that they will continue to offer the new one all the time now that they started allowing people to opt out. If enough people do that, they might just not offer one with new trips within a certain time frame.

I think wewantsdaredhead might still be there then. I don't remember if anyone else is heading that direction. acp might be there if your trip is long enough.

NaCler is most likely coming down for at least a day--and yes, Amy is right--the Deacons will most certainly visit on the weekend
