Woohoo...Disney trip!

Post by PureCerium » Mar Thu 29, 2007 6:01 pm

Woohoo! I can't wait. I just planned my summer vacation and it will include a stop by Disneyworld. It may be at the end of July 07, but in my past experience July really wasn't so bad. It was a little but warm, but Disney is great about keeping the lines for rides out of the sun. I'm looking forward to riding Mission: Space and Mt. Everest again. I'm sure the closer the time to my trip comes, the more I'll listen to this site! This time we're gonna hit Soarin' as soon as Epcot opens. The wait was only 10 minutes when we did it last time and then pick up a fast pass and be set to go for the next round. It looks like The Haunted Mansion will be closed during the summer of 07, but that just gives us another excuse to go back again!

July really isn't that bad - crowds are manageable with FastPass, book your ADRs now, swim at your resort during the afternoon to cool off - it's really quite fun.

I've been there in July and in August, and in November and in December...

Gotta say that while I wouldn't turn down a trip no matter when I could go, that yeah, July/August can be rough.

Get ahold of some touring plans, whether from the 2007 Unofficial Guide or a place like http://www.tourguidemike.com... they should help you get the most out of what is sure to be some busy days.

You should defnitely take breaks in between the day and I recommend purcashing the water bottle fans that they sell in the park. When your waiting in a long line, You could defnitely use the cooldown.
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

Rain upon that planet Earth. And they rain ... and rain ... and rain. The deluge.
