WDW Feb Trip Photos
I just posted some photos of our recent trip to WDW Feb 11-15. Much too short. It was a bit cold that week. In fact one morning Orlando set a record low for the day, so you may see more coats and sweatshirts in these pics than you would expect. But we had a good time. Stayed at the Wilderness Lodge for the first time.

It's not suppose to be cold in Florida anytime! It was in the mid to high 40's last Sunday and Monday, this week it's been in the 80's.Sarah Turp - Cool. I've never been to WDW when its cold. I've always gone to America in the summer. It would seem weird going when its cold. Having said that it would be nicer in some ways as it is often too hot in August!
When you go to WDW with kids there WILL be sometime when their legs just give out. And yes, for my son, it was in the GMR que.disneydreamer12 - Question, is the picture of the boy on the floor in the GMR queue?

oh dude, you stayed in the Wilderness lodge?! I'm soo jealous! It's close to 8 years since I've been. Our trip keeps getting postponed due to other trips. Looks like 2007 will be the year we go.

It also snows when you leave the Narnia exhibit at the Studios and that attraction will be there through June or July.MouseMan wrote:Dr. go between Christmas and New Years' if you can stand the crowds. They do make it "snow" on main street after the fireworks as everyone is leaving. We went at that time in 2003. Having it snow on you when it is in the 70's is pretty neat.

The Wilderness Lodge is so awesome and it has the Whispering Canyon Cafe! I think its our second favorite hotel (behind Boardwalk).subsonic wrote:oh dude, you stayed in the Wilderness lodge?! Yeah, that was the first time we have been in on of the MK deluxe resorts and we loved it. When I planned it my wife complained for weeks before the trip about the cost, but after going she is next talking about the the next AKL or Contemporary or back to the Wilderness Lodge!! We could swing it last time because we had 4 frequent flyer tickets, 4 parkhopper tickets with 2 days each left on them from previous trips and 10 one day parkhoppers we got complements of Disney. So all we had to pay for was hotel and food.
