I'm itching for another international Disney trip

Post by horizons1 » Jul Wed 20, 2022 9:07 am

I've been watching for restrictions to be lifted in Japan. I'd like to introduce my wife to HKDL and TDS. I'd also like to go back to Shanghai, although that seems less likely due to more than just COVID. Finally, it would be nice to go back to France, especially for the anniversary.

All that said, we're getting toward winter and I don't think any of the international parks are going to be fun in the cold. I was in Japan in October and France in March. Both were no snow but freezing and it kinda takes some of the fun out of walking around all day. That means I'd have to wait until next spring, and I can't wait!

I'd love to go back to any of the international parks as well. And I've never been to Shanghai at all. I was in France in September which was beautiful weather. And Tokyo in December which was indeed chilly and just outright rainy for one of the days which wasn't the most fun, but I think it helped keep the crowds down. But that was 19 years ago now so I'm guessing that whole lower crowd thing might be a thing of the past at any of the parks.
I hope you get to go and she gets to experience the other parks. AND that you'll share pictures!

My wife and I decided that going international this year may not be the best thing. And with all the mess and chaos, we may have been right. But next year is a new year and we're down for a Seine River Cruise! It'll be our first cruise of any kind so we'll see how it goes!

I've always wanted to do one of those. When and where are you going? I get the Viking brochures every couple months. The cruise titled "Tulips & Windmills" sounds especially charming to me. And a winter river cruise when each town is decked out in holiday decorations would be fun to see.

We're down for the ABD Paris Escape and Seine River Cruise in May next year. Hitting the Christmas Markets some time is also on the list!
