Back from WDW, pictures coming

Post by spaulo » Dec Mon 19, 2005 12:50 pm

Got back on Saturday from an 8-day trip to WDW... and while there I asked my girlfriend to marry me! (she said yes, of course)

We took 675 pictures. I am sorting through them and will have a Flickr set up by the end of the week, which of course I will share here. Here are a couple of samples I have shrunk for the web so far:

It's good to be back, and I'll post those pics as soon as I get them up!

Congratulations spaulo! Wishing you and your fiance all the best and lots of vacations to Disney theme parks.

Those pictures look fantastic - can't wait till I leave for Disney World!
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

Thanks, QuickGold. I'm working on both writing up the trip and getting the 400+ photos (out of 675 originally taken) up onto Flickr so I can share them... I can't seem to get Flickr Uploadr to agree with my home PC, so I will try to upload my 750ish megs of photos from work today.

I'm real excited about how some of these shots came out... highlights include Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade, Mickey's 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, The Festival of the Lion King, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Lights Motors Action!, and some random stuff that just came out real neat-lookin' (like the shot of the sorceror hat)...

Can't wait to share them with you all!

I have trouble with Flickr sometimes too, and switched over to Smugmug. I really like the auto uploader. The only thing I don't like is I can't order books or calendars, but can do all the other giftie stuff.

Nice shots, too. Can't wait to read your trip report!!!

Congrats - and very nice photos. You have a good eye and good camera, very crisp shots, even at night! Most impressive - now I have to start packing for my trip!

That was indeed a great story. I've been trying to think of proposal ideas as well but I laughed when she hit you because that's something my girlfriend would probably due to me (between the uncontrollable crying). Congrats!
