ABD Central Europe in Pics!

Post by Alacrity » Jan Wed 20, 2016 2:34 pm

My wife and I were on the September of 2015 Adventures By Disney Central Europe tour. We stopped at Disneyland Paris on the way to Prague then Joined our group for the sights in Prague, Berchtesgaden and Vienna. I was finally able to get some pics online! There are a few videos as well (GoPro and point and shoot camera). I elected to leave the DSLR at home this trip and used a point and shoot and the GoPro. A few cell phone shots too! If you would like to take a look, they can be found at http://dbeedle.com/Photos/ABD-CE2015

DLP is such a pretty park ~ love the Wall-E and Eve statue :) And that's where PUSH lives now? Neat!

It's more 20,000 Leagues walk though of the Nautilus. Still pretty durn neat.

I find the GoPro to give pretty good results and it travels really easily. Lack of bulk is a big plus for me. I don't tend to use the widest of the wide angle as i don't care for the fisheye effect that tends to give. Instead I usually using it in its' medium view setting, which is still pretty wide but a lot less fisheye. It does OK for stills in a pinch but it has no zoom, flash or image stabilization. Thus, I usually carry a still camera too and on this trip, went only with my new point and shoot compact camera. Again, less bulk. I also use the GoPro while scuba diving and the lightness, size and small housing is another big plus for me.

And yes, really good beer! And the best coffee in Vienna!
