That's just it, Amy - the crowds weren't really that bad. And it wasn't just EE, it was DHS too. I did Star Tours twice, the Great Movie Ride, and Muppetvision 3D in probably less than 45 minutes (and that includes walking time between the attractions too).
Amy wrote:That is pretty neat that you got to experience EE that many times in a row. Did you have to get off and queue up each time or did you get to stay on the train?
Yes, I had to walk out and back around each time. Between 9:40 AM and 10:15 AM, I went through security, entered the park, walked through the park to EE, got a fast pass, rode it four times, and had time also to stop off at the EE store to pick up a photo of me on the ride as well.
Amy wrote:Nice photos of the kitties. Did you get to pet them?! ;)
No. To paraphrase Basil Fawlty, "Cuddle with them and you'll never play the guitar again."
Amy wrote:For those who don't know much about Star Tours, like me, I would have to have a dramatically different sequence to know that I wasn't seeing the same thing over and over. I have heard from others that the randomness isn't as good as promised though
I found it a bit disappointing. The Phantom Menace (Episode 1) and the Return of the Jedi (Episode 6) are my least two favorite in the collection, so to have the pod race from the Phantom Menace (my least liked part besides Jar Jar Binks in that film) to be the one part that will forever repeat time and time again did not win points with me.

I suppose you lucked out and beat the marathon crowds then? I wonder if the queues were much, much worse once the race was over and participants and spectators headed into the parks for attractions??

Beat the marathon crowds? Amy, I was riding EE with the marathon crowds! 3 out of 4 times I rode the other riders were marathoners! :mickey:

You know, MK wasn't crowded on Sunday either!
Glad you got to get a bunch of stuff done at DAK and DHS though...we went to DHS sometime between 4 and 4:30 and attempted to find the Mousecouple and Boilers...and eventually did right before their ADR.
We were bummed that we didn't get to hang out more, but I'm glad you made it home safely!

Thanks Mmeleota, Amy and cy! :D Therapy is definately pain and torture!!! Active Release Therapy is not pleasant, but it's going to help me in the long run. Very well worth it! :D

M-dude, I'm no where near starting on my trip report and I honestly have not had the time to read all of yours or mindflippers, I will do that soon! And I can help fill in the blanks b/c I kept a journal this time like I usually do!!! :D Heading to Georgia for a few days to dive with the Whale Sharks, but will get started on my trip report upon my return!!!

Or couse! :D That one will be easy b/c it's short!!!

Amy, I believe he probably was riding with the marathoners during the race, I have heard that some of them stop off to ride the rides since the parks are opening up during the race. Those that do that are not after a PR, just having some fun! :D

They would still have to be pretty good runners though right. Otherwise they wouldn't have time to stop and ride without being swept off the course :( This sort of amazes me. My brother that runs the Ironmans is so focused, I can't imagine him stopping to take in an attraction  I wouldn't have the oompfh to get going if I would stop in the middle of running  I'd sit down for an attraction and that would be the end of my race

I was amazed at how many were doing it (but when you're running past EE with a 0 wait time, how can you pass it up?)...

I suppose it only amounts to about 5 minutes added on to your time. If you aren't trying to be competitive, you might as well have fun?!

Oh yeah, right outside the Great Movie Ride, if I remember correctly. :)

I've gotten the same Star Tours only once- all my others have been different, and I've ridden about a half dozen times since it opened back up.
