It's like because WDW has the Osborne Lights they don't feel the need to do much more after that. In the MK, once you're off Main Street, you're hard pressed to find any Xmas decorations. Not the same at Disneyland: Fronteirland, New Orleans Square, and Fantasyland are all decorated with uniquely themed Christmas decorations. Fronteirland has christmas wreaths made out of tumbleweeds and horse shoes. New Orleans Square has a "Mardi Gras" Christmas (lots of green, gold, and purple decorations). Then add on top of that It's A Small World and the Haunted Mansion have their "holiday overlays", WDW's MK comes up cheap in comparison.

Ouch! That seems like a long time! Which one - WDW or Disneyland?
We have 10 months to go and the Disney depression is setting in quickly. The good part is that we can make our ADR's in Feb so that is only 3 1/2 months away!

If you feel yourself starting to hyper-ventiliate, try breathing into a paper bag until you're breathing gets back to normal.

You've still got a month to go, and we don't want you passing out from anticipation. Wait until you get the park, then faint.

Thanks mindflipper, I will get my brown bag!!! The suitcases are coming out this weekend!

I did pass out for real once in Disney, after I ran the 1/2 marathon! We were on the bus back to our resort and I did a slow fade. I think too much excitment, no sleep the night before the race etc....

Take the umbrella - it's winter time and it can get wet. Heck, it's miserable and wet outside right now!

Are you in north Florida? I lived in Ft Myers for years and you hardly got any rain after September.

Babe do not listen to the man with the Nightmare avatar!! It will not rain!! You got enough of that last time!! I'm praying for sunny days for you!!

Listen to Jacca, Boilerbabe! He speaks wisdom! Of course, I have to say that because I'm going to be there the same time as you, so I have a vested interest in hoping for good weather!

Hey! Hey! What? If you can take an umbrella and its sunny, leave the umbrella in the hotel room. But if it does rain - you got an umbrella. Otherwise, it's the poncho hell. I always pack my Disneyland Paris umbrella whenever I go.

And you know, because you prepared by having an umbrella, then it doesn't rain. Universe works in that kind of warped way. Think of the umbrella as a "good luck" charm against rain.

My umbrella has rarely left the hotel room. It's been good luck for me.

P.S. Jacca5660, my avatar is from a Disney "Nightmare", just not from the movie, The Nightmare Before Christmas. He's actually from a Disney theme-park. I would tell you what he's saying, but I don't understand Japanese...

AHHHHHH! NO RAIN!!!!!! mindflipper and Mousekedude, I don't think you know about our trip from May! It was a TOTAL wash out! I mean bad! So, I will ONLY think SUNNY thoughts for this trip! NO RAIN! Actually, we're leaving my mom behind on this trip, she is the rain goddess! We will take ponchos just in case. But, just the site of those make me twitch!
