...or perhaps someone got injured on a recent dive and they have to close it down temporarily during a "safety inspection/review" (but then again, you would think we would have heard about something like that in the news or the grapevine)...

...or perhaps Nemo made his way into the filter and jammed up the pump so that the tank wouldn't get clean... ;)

I'm sorry that you won't get to do your dive this time Boilerbabe. :( But at least there's still January!!!

I've offered to clean the tank for them in return for more downtime, but so far, I've gotten no where with that! I'm thinking it's something that happened very recently and not a scheduled maintenance. I've noticed that some of the fish don't look right to me, I wonder if there is something going on with the balance in the tank, like M-dude mentioned. At any rate, we're still thrilled to be headed Home and will dive in Jan. Just hope nothing goes wrong then?!?!

We may also be extending our trip one more night! I was able to schedule the time off from work, you know us, we always need...just..one...more...day! Now just have to see if we can tack on that extra night and what the airfare is doing?!

I'm sure you should have any problems adding on an extra night. Airfare might be another issue. It is still down I believe, but how dear is it to change after you've already purchased tickets?!

She said they are having "technical difficulty". Whatever that means?! If there are any CM's on here that can shed some light on the situation, it would be much appreciated. We were so looking forward to our dive. I plan on calling everyday we are there, in hopes it will open early, she said as of right now, it's closed until Oct. 22?! But, I'm not going to hold my breath. So, that is a big bummer. On the bright side, we're going Home, and soon!
I suspect it's either issues in the tank (ie., filtering or cleaning) or like someone else mentioned, there might have been an injury so it had to be closed temporarily for an investigation of some type. Bummer regardless!

It's official, we added another night! :goofy_bounce: It was a bit of a pain though. It was showing up online available, but the CM could not get it to show up. So, I had to go online, book the one night and then call back and make it a "continuing reservation". They said they will most likely be able to keep us in the same room, so hopefully!!! Airfare is still down, it's O-N!!!! 8-)

Glad you were able to add on a room. I'm sure it shouldn't be a problem keeping you in the same room. Have you not booked your plane tickets yet?! We usually get the tickets first and then work on the accommodations since the air fares seem to vary more wildly than the rooms do.

Yes, we booked our air a while back....now I just need to change our return flight. The airfare seems to be less of a hassle than Disney with the rooms. It's always our bad luck to have to switch rooms. So, hopefully we don't have to deal with that on this trip!

Is there a big charge to change the airline ticket? Or does the trip insurance cover that? I'm really hoping that this time around there is no difficulty with the room. We had to change rooms too and also only had one king size bed. I made a request this time for twin beds so hopefully they will be able to accommodate that request. I'm thinking of calling in a few days to see if they can tell me if it can be done.

Southwest does not charge to change flights, that's why I love S. West!!! They just charge if there is a difference in ticket prices, I never get the trip insurance.

I would call a few days ahead, it doesn't hurt!

Man, another reason to be bummer we don't have Southwest here in South Bend :( The last report out of the airport is that they are planning on adding a dedicated route to Denver ~ whoopie. It will be news when we can get Southwest with free baggage and flights to WDW!!
