When I ran this one it was still the Minnie Marathon and a 15K. You'll have to post a pic. of the medal when you return, I would so love to run that one again! 8-) Disney races are by far the BEST! Good luck to you!

Are the distances of the Princess and what used to be a 15K similar?

A 15K is 9.31 miles and they changed the race to a 1/2 marathon 13.1 miles.

So they are making people work a little harder for their bling!
I gave my credit card a work-out yesterday buying a few things for the trip. Does that count as exercise?

Anyone up for an Intercontinental WII Fit Plus Challenge.

I know there are a few that have the WII Fit Plus as I have, I'm still enjoying the challenges but I need someone to compete against beating my own best score is getting a little boring.

So how about choosing a discipline and posting your best score, remembering to let everyone know if it is beginner or advanced and then we can compete to get better. As Mouseoholic started this topic I would say she should have first choice.

If no-one fancies it I'll just have to carry on beating myself.

Hmmmmmm...... sounds interesting. We do have a Wii, and we have the Wii Fit Plus disc. So which events did you want to use for the challenge? I don't use it nearly as much as Mouseoholic does, but I'm interested in knowing what you have in mind. I'll let her know about this so she can "weigh in" (pun intended) on it too! :D

By the way, I lost 3 more pounds this past week! So that's a total of 15 I've lost so far! I may actually be able to top my goal of 25 before December if I keep after it!

I have to get a little fitter before each Disney trip. Normally I carry a camera bag that is 22lbs but when I go to Disney that increases to a 35+lb bag and I carry it all day long, except for food and rides (although it doesn't fit in those personal items holders :) ) Generally I don't bring the tripod until it gets later and the sun is about to set, that is the + in the weight equation.

I start about a month early and start adding things to my bag to make it heavier for my commute (I walk to and from all the train stations 6 miles total). The things I add may be as simple as a second water bottle to more crazy like a 10lb weight from my dumbbells. This weekend though I took all my camera gear out and did some Fall Foliage photography and I was carrying the full amount around for a few miles down a couple of trails (piece of advice, DON'T try to navigate the banks of a river with that much weight on your back. Nothing happened, just REALLY difficult) and I can safely say that I am ready for Disneyland starting Wednesday.

Well done Mouskedude keep up the good work.

As for the challenge basically choose something lets say just for an example Perfect 10, then put your highest score for either beginner advanced or super advanced and see if anyone can top it. After seeing what other peoples scores are it may inspire you to try harder and get top score over all or you may have the top score that everyone is trying to get to, of course it is slightly different in your household as there is two of you on the board so either one could have the highest score.

I'm willing to have a go at most things, it doesn't mean I'm good at them, some things like the Kung Fu reduces me to fits of laughter but I'm up for the challenge :D
