Nice pics Amy! I really love the one of the Earful Tower. Now, I must ask the question that was bugging me the whole time I was reading the report... what sandwich did you include a pic of from Earl of Sandwich???

Yes, you must try it! We go there every trip and everything we've had is delicious. The line will almost definitely be looped around and long when you go, but they have it well managed and it actually moves really quickly. The desserts are yummy too! I love their brownie that has icing in the middle, but they didn't have any made when I went last time.NaCler wrote:MMmMmmMmm... I'm ashamed to admit that I have never tried the EOS. Even the kids PB&J was amazing...although the kids wouldn't eat it at first because it looked too fancy!Polynesian Princess wrote:Yes, you must try it! As all the others have said, you really must try it! And the line will look horrible, but it does move relatively quickly, and the results are sooooooo worth it!!NaCler wrote:MMmMmmMmm... I'm ashamed to admit that I have never tried the EOS. I hope to rectify that in a couple of weeks!

Re: Dec 2010: Mayhem Invades Disney World!!!
Amy, I just loved your pics of Fantasmic! and Beauty and the Beast. I even liked the candid shot of you! I have missed all of you guys and just can believe that we have 40+ pages going on this thread. I am off tomorrow and will try to catch up on all of the Mayhem. I know there are a few things Mousekedude left off our trip report that I would like to include. Tell your mom hello for me. She has a special place in my heart and is such a sweetheart as are you.
All, I have been so out of touch with reality (Disney) lately and know nothing of what is going on there. I can't believe this time we never even made it over into Toontown. I would have liked to atleast passed thru there one last time . In 2009 I broke down and got my face painted. That was a once in a life time experience and one that I never plan on repeating. LOL
Well, we are about to board our flight so I have to say bye for now.

Amy, do they have two people play the role of Belle. Seems like her face changed when she came out as a princess in your pictures. Great shots, and like your vantage point of Fantasmic.

Thanks Len. I sort of thought she looked different too but I think it is just the different wigs that make her appear like a different person. I'll have to look closer when I'm on the computer later...Len90 wrote:Amy, do they have two people play the role of Belle. Amy and F1gment ~ Day 9
An early and cold start to day 9. We managed to get out of the room and off to the parks by 8. It was only 47 degrees this morning!
We shopped at the Emporium to use another of the 20% coupons that kept appearing on receipts.
Snapped a few photos of the stage show as we went by, Minnie must be one of the higher tech, blinky models too

Off to Peter Pan ~ where shockingly enough, I have no photos to share
Then we were off to It's a Small World ~ we actually rode twice since Mom was in the wheelchair boat and no one else was waiting. I wanted to go again, but she nixed a third voyage! This...........did not surprise me

In a few other threads I mentioned that although It's a Small World in California was the attraction that got the Disney characters inserted into it, we spotted Ariel inside WDW's version too!! The scary part is she...well, I'll let the picture tell the story
WARNING: THE FOLLOWING IMAGE MAY BE DISTURBING TO LITTLE MERMAID FANS!!

Luckily the CM's must have noticed and Ariel had been rescued by the time we rolled into the dock the second time..phew!
Next up was Snow White ~ again, no photos

I must have been feeling a bit off this day
Today was a blustery day, perfect for a trip with Winnie the Pooh!

Funny story, Mom broke the attraction! No really, the CM stopped the honey pot on a sensor which tripped some sort of emergency stop, which couldn't be corrected without maintenance coming and resetting the sensor, so, yeah, Mom sort of caused a bit of a delay that day
Here is a photo of her flirting with the maintenance guys. You can take the girl out of the South, but you can't take the South out of the girl

Mom unfortunately wasn't able to get in and out of her favorite attraction this trip around so we settled for taking her photo with her favorite pachyderm instead...

Haunted Mansion was next and Mom bought a book at the cart outside the mansion and I got some kooky pens for my niece. Unfortunately Mom didn't remind me about the AP discount until after I had already paid. No problem, said the CM, just pop into the gift shop right around the corner and they'll do a quick refund. Well, there was nothing quick about it, but it was a nice little stop with some clever quick witted banter between the CM's and myself.
I didn't buy this plate, but I really like it

Which view of the mansion do you like better...this one?

Or...this one...

I actually have a different view which is my favorite of the many photos I have taken of the mansion, and it is actually one I have made a print of but I haven't been able to get my scanner cooperating with my Mac quite yet, so I can't share it at the moment...but I digress....On with the show!

By this point it was after one o'clock and we were both hungry. We were going to try lunch at the Harbor House but there was no seating available on the ground floor. The manager was quite concerned since they always try to have some accessible seating available. They were quite insistent that they would be able to find us somewhere to sit but I assured them we were fine finding another place for lunch and we harked off to Cosmic Rays. That place was packed as well but we lucked into a table fairly quickly.
Ok, this is it for this first part of the day. My new laptop is following in the footsteps of the old one and had it's first kernel panic attack while I was trying to get Day 9 up. This after all the intermittent freezing it has been doing will be requiring an angry phone call to Apple first thing Monday...

Len90 and his iphones, Amy and the Macs - y'know, you guys are not the best advertisements for Apple out there...
