So me and my girlfriend were within 5 feet of you guys the whole time? When did you get out to the beach? We got to Cap. Cook's at 9:10 and waited till 9:45 and figured we missed you. So we went out to the beach to look for you guys and didn't see you so we watched Wishes by ourselves. Noticed you guys on the walkway on the way out and I yelled "Marauders" but only NaCler (I think, judging from the photo) looked over. My girlfriend had to work early the next morning so we left not knowing if it was you or not.mindflipper wrote:

MadEye - I'm sorry bud... I didn't hear anyone shout Marauders (that I know of), I probably just happened to look that way after you yelled. We ran late with dinner and got to Captain Cooks about 5 minutes before the fireworks. We didn't get out to see them until they had already started. Then we wanted to take a group pic real quick and get over to the MK for the MSEP, so we weren't very observant. I'm sorry we missed you.

Re: Dec 2010: Mayhem Invades Disney World!!!
continued for your viewing pleasure... finally...
Just after Noon we met up with a few people by the names of... Mousekedude, Mouseoholic, Amy, F1gment and mindflipper (I prefer to use their real names now, but in order not to confuse everyone, I'll continue with the user names) just outside of Big Thunder. We exchanged pleasantries like we had known each other for years. It really was amazing how we all seemed so comfortable with each other even though we were really meeting for the first time. We kinda felt like our first ride together should be on the Pirates of the Caribbean... we are Marauders, you know.
So all of us (sans Amy and her Mother as they needed to grab something to eat) headed that direction. We then met back up with Amy so we could ride Thunder Mountain. I wish I could say that I convinced my mom to ride BTMR... but it didn't happen. She sat with F1gment during our ride.
After BTMR, my mom and I needed to do a little shopping so we broke free from the group (remember we only had 2.5 days in the parks while everyone else was staying for a week or so). I hated leaving them, but it was ultimately a Mother/Son trip, so... We picked up a couple of things in Liberty Square and then went off to Mickey's Philharmagic. When we entered into the cattle area (room inside where they gather everyone before the actual show) I heard a voice yell out my name. I turned to look and it was Amy! We had all shown up at the same place. Great minds, I guess.
We split again, Mom and I went to Tomorrowland to get a fastpass for Buzz and rode the Peoplemover. We got on CoP and I received a text message from Mousekedude saying that they were getting on the CoP! Man... great minds again! We all got our FastPasses for Space Mountain and split again. This time Mom and I went in Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor as I had only been in there once. I really think this is an under-rated attraction as I enjoyed it very much. We then went over to the Liberty Belle to see if we could get some good pictures. While there we saw the 5pm parade from above:

After another ride on the CoP... yes, I love it... we met up with the rest of the crew at the Peoplemover. The Boilers met us and we went to Space Mountain. When we got off it was just after 7pm and we had a reservation for 9 at Ohana. We took the small, jungle cruise-like boat over to the Poly:

I think mindflipper heard a fish jump or something, as he's clearly looking for something in the water.
I don't have any pics of the food as I was busy chowing down and not thinking clearly. But, during the dinner we had a little entertainment which I did just happen to catch:
Amy is the brave one of the group... or the crazy one... nah, let's go with brave.

After dinner we were rushed trying to get our Dole Whips and get to the beach before the fireworks. We almost made it, but we still saw MOST of the fireworks. My group picture is not as good as mindflippers so I won't waste the space here.
We made it back to the MK in plenty of time and got a great spot for watching the MSEP. I will have video shortly... After the parade we learned that the park was open until 1am, not Midnight like they advertised. WHOO HOOO... a little late night Mayhem! After saying goodbye to Amy and her mother, we took off to ride Buzz Lightyear. Then Big Thunder again. Then a few of us went to the Haunted Mansion while the others continued riding BTMR as it was walk on. The main thing we realized while in the stretching room was the amazing sound effects that they enhanced. With the room almost empty, the creaking sounds really came alive and it added to the experience. We all met back up and rode Peter Pan as it was only a 5 minute wait. No, there was no ride on Small World.
Then off to Dumbo since there was no wait!

That was basically it... we all said our goodbyes and hoped that we would run into each other the next day.
Stay tuned for the next installment... NaCler hangs out with the ladies... Ruth, Linda, Amy and Beverly???

Love the update on the Dec 4th trip report, NaCler. Yeh, a fish. That's right, I think I heard a fish. That's it.

Wow you guys are just toying with me now
Great update and I kind of get the feeling from these pictures that b-dude and amy are always looking to have a good time. I really can't judge mindflipper as his face always seems to be hidden from the lens.
I really can't wait to the rest of the mayhem marauders come back so I can read and see more of what went on.

Actually, I find Mouskecouple are very much a fun-loving duo. BTMRR seems to have a magnetic attraction for Mouseoholic. Did she ride it 4 times that day?Len90 wrote:Wow you guys are just toying with me nowGreat update and I kind of get the feeling from these pictures that b-dude and amy are always looking to have a good time. boilerbabe is fun-loving too - just not when it comes to improvised Polynesian Christmas karoake from her DH. Alas, it was not meant to be - but it would have been some great video if they had the music being played.
NaCler is fun guy too. When you think about it...when you're at the WDW MK, who isn't looking to have a good time?!? Well, except maybe the guy who try to run me down with the baby stroller...

As for me...I'm.....

What a great picture of HM, NaCler. It's hard to catch the full creepiness of the mansion, but that shot at sunset definitely works!
And MF (and NaCler), in the words of my DD quoting Go Dog Go, "'Do you like my hat?' 'I do. I like that party hat.'"

LOL I think that didn't get typed out the way I was thinking. B-dude and Amy appear to be the most devious mayhem marauders. The others look "quieter" or more stealthy in releasing the mayhem.mindflipper wrote:Actually, I find Mouskecouple are very much a fun-loving duo. As for everybody being fun-loving.... YOU'RE IN WALT DISNEY WORLD!!!!! Everybody should be fun-loving there. I definitely would love to meet up with all of you one day in WDW to help unleash more mayhem. Just make sure you never leave b-dude unattended with me since he seemed to be offering some very good advice

Oh and one more thing... no update today

Believe me, B-dude isn't really "devious" - but he's a natural-born leader of fun and incredible fountain of apparently useless trivia. I want him on my team for Trivial Pursuit LOL! Amy to me is not devious either, but she's like you Len90 - uninhibited. There's one there who might be "devious" but he will remain nameless...

Well I have limited it down to two people: One who is faceless and the other who is not back on the boards yet... I wonder which one it could bemindflipper wrote:Believe me, B-dude isn't really "devious" - but he's a natural-born leader of fun and incredible fountain of apparently useless trivia. The report and the pictures were great! I wish we could've been there with y'all. You guys look like you're just as much fun in person as you are here on the boards! Maybe if all goes well we can meet up in the new Fantasyland in 2012!

Re: Dec 2010: Mayhem Invades Disney World!!!
Hi everyone! We are back!!!! It may take us a few days to wade through the 3,000 photos and to get a trip report going. I came back with a cold and Mousekedude is now coming down with it as well. Despite the cold weather and the higher than usual crowd levels, it was our best trip yet. Meeting all of the Mayhem Marauders was the best part of all! Everyone was so great and meeting for the first time was not as awkward as I thought it was going to be. I felt quite at home with everyone. F1gment (Amy's) mom is such a doll! I wish I could keep her. We promise to work tonight on the meet-up photos.....
Thanks to Mindflipper & NaCler for getting the trip report stared and telling their side of the story...LOL
Stay tuned for more mayhem....
Mouseoholic!

Re: Dec 2010: Mayhem Invades Disney World!!!
I was starting to wonder if Boilerdude had been sneaking the rum again...a couple of those pics looked questionable
You got some amazing shots NaCler!!! I love the HM and parade pictures especially! It's amazing the things you hear in the stretching room when there's only a handful of people there....especially creepy!
(try riding in the "shrinking room" (riding up in the stretching room...I think this might only work at DL, I'm not sure)...talk about creepy!)
Patiently (or not so much
) awaiting the rest of the report!!!!
Welcome back to the boards (and the real world
) Mousekecouple!!!! Sorry to hear about the cold though...ick, hopefully you will be healthy for the holiday though!!!
