We would never boo you Amy! There are so many great classics out there, it is tough to know the acronyms for all of them.

Our last trip to WDW was March of 2010. Our kids were 15 & 17. All I had to say was, "Let's go to Dis...", and they were in the mood.
Though, when we were down there and the temps were in the 50's during daylight and 30's after sundown, all of us had to fight to keep that mood...

We enjoyed all the sunshine that Florida had to offer, even if we could see our breath as we enjoyed the sun!GarretV wrote:Our last trip to WDW was March of 2010. Our kids were 15 & 17. All I had to say was, "Let's go to Dis...", and they were in the mood.

some good ideas for families with young kids are making iteneraries, getting name tags and custom iteneraries from disney.com (they used to have them i know). or planning a few special dinners by reading restaurant reviews.

Re: What do you do to get your family in the Mood?
I'm always in the mood. My husband does stuff with me, but I don't think it really "hits" him until about a week out or so. Then after he works his last day at work, he gets really excited. Somewhere around 20 days out, we make a countdown chain that we break a chain on together each day before the trip. We break the last chain on the way out the door to our trip. We start packing a few weeks ahead and getting all of our "disney" stuff in the suitcases. We also try to watch more Disney movies, but we haven't done that great this time around.

We were there then too and it was freezing! I think we tried to swim a few times, but it was hopeless.GarretV wrote:Our last trip to WDW was March of 2010. Our kids were 15 & 17. All I had to say was, "Let's go to Dis...", and they were in the mood.

Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!
