I can remember years ago when my husband was then my boyfriend and we were taking our first day trip anywhere. I had a small backpack that I told him I was going to carry (I traveled a lot and found it was just easier for me) and he looked at me like I was crazy. Within two years, he would ask me when we were getting ready if I was taking a bag or not because by the end of the day he was shoving stuff in there.

No, but I thought of it after the trip. Perhaps this time I will remember to bring a pedometer. I'll get back to you after August.

I finally got my pedometer working again. I had a week where it would not do anything, even when I shook the crap out of it. But then I remembered I hadn't uploaded the info for awhile so once I did that voila! It works. I wore it all day yesterday and today and plan to until I leave in 4 weeks so I'll have a good idea of what a normal amount of steps are.

I've worn one the past couple of visits. I just posted my Pedometer numbers in the other forum about getting fit for Disney. For me it averaged out to be around 30 miles for the duration of my visit.
My pedometer died a couple of years ago, so I tried using a blackberry app for my pedometer last year, but it didn't work well at all. So this week I have to go buy another one. I'll post my tallies after this next visit. But you do have to watch out for the rides adding some. And also just standing in line. If you take a quarter step shuffling up in line, it could still register as a regular stride step. So it's good to have both a step counter and a milage counter function on the pedometer.
