I do my packing the day before I leave, so that'll be done on Tuesday.

You're so brave. I couldn't pack the day before because there are inevitably last minute things I need to buy and throw in the suitcase.

Thanks. Can't wait for this trip. We started planning it over a year ago. We usually plan-and-go in two months or less so this has been an especially long "anticipation period". Lots of new stuff to see since we were there a few years ago, plus our first time to see the Christmas decorations. Also looking forward to our first visit to Victoria and Albert's. Should be a fun time for just the two of us with no kids, no other couples, and 8 days to go at a slow adult pace. Will fill you in when we return!

Dinner at Victoria and Albert's ~ how fun! And 8 whole days to take evereything in. Sounds like you will have a nice time. Christmas time is a great time to visit ~ we love all the decorations and especially the Osborne lights at DHS!!

I start a list early so I can pick up things I might need, but packing usually gets done only a few days in advance. I think the last trip I was frantically throwing things together the night before since the weeks ahead of the trip had been so hectic

My new mission (though some of you Subsonicers saw sometime last week) is that I'm going to attempt to make a trip out to Disney's Aulani resort in Hawaii. I was born in Hawaii and lived there until I was a year and a half old before making the permanent move to California so this is a trip I've been wanting to make for years. It will be and my best friend that went with me to Disney World earlier in the year so we HOPE to go sometime next May after our spring semester at school. I need to learn to drive too so I can drive around the island...

Nice! Will you be able to stay at Aulani or simply visit?
