Most definitely. We spent a lot of time just hanging out in the bar there having a pint. Definitely excited to actually be in the dining room though this time. Plus, I figure if we hang out long enough and have a longer dinner, we can be there to watch Illuminations from inside the restaurant!TikiTikiRoom wrote:The Rose and Crown sounds amazing, by the way. I love a good pub.

Re: Upcoming adventure!
I really didn't enjoy our meal at Hollywood & Vine with the Fantasmic deal in Jan 2010. The food was just OK. Hubby and I were really excited about Fantasmic, but getting there as early as we did and sitting there for so long, and then seeing the show, we didn't think the show was worth all the hassle. It's not something we'll be doing again. I agree, it might be more worthwhile to just eat your meals as you'd like, and go stake your seats out as soon as you can for Fantasmic if you really want to see it. There are many other restaurants that would be more worth your time.

Good to know. I haven't eaten at many sit down restaurants at HS. The Sci Fi diner was fine, but I don't really care to watch those cold movies all throughout my meal. Plus, I like to be able to see all of the people I'm with! How is Momma Melrose?cy1229 wrote:I really didn't enjoy our meal at Hollywood & Vine with the Fantasmic deal in Jan 2010. I am so bummed that Fantasmic won't be showing while we are there.

sci-fi is lit fine... you can see everyone in the 'theatre' and what they are doing... it is darker around the screens, up high, so you can get good contrast watching the clips...

I just meant that since two of you are in the back staring straight ahead and another two in front of them staring straight ahead - it is hard to all be together in conversation. It is a great concept, but just not my thing.dstrawn9889 wrote:¿¿??Plus, I like to be able to see all of the people I'm with!

You'll need that extra day to digest all that food you'll be eatingTikiTikiRoom wrote:Just got an update that we got an extra day added on to our trip. No longer a 6 day vaca, but a full 7 day week! Woo! Can't wait to see OKW again.

That's great news! It makes such a different to have even an extra day or two to make a complete trip! We are going from Sunday to the following Monday and I am going to soak up every minute! Every EMH and LMH!TikiTikiRoom wrote:Just got an update that we got an extra day added on to our trip. No longer a 6 day vaca, but a full 7 day week! Woo! Can't wait to see OKW again.

Agreed. I plan on being a little more adventurous this trip. Trying some new foods and drinks. This is what happens when I watch too much Anthony BourdainAmy wrote:You'll need that extra day to digest all that food you'll be eatingTikiTikiRoom wrote:Just got an update that we got an extra day added on to our trip. Hahaha, I do always like meeting new people, but we'll see what happens. I'll be with my fam the entire week and would need to find some time to break off from them. It'd be kinda weird letting em know "that I'll be going out to hang out with people I met on the internet". hahaha. I'll keep you up to date.

Bring your family along! Once you meet everyone, they won't be your crazy "Internet" friends anymore...just your crazy friendsTikiTikiRoom wrote:Hahaha, I do always like meeting new people, but we'll see what happens.
