Thanks for being excited for us all, I knew my Sub family would understand! :D Wish I could take all of you with us, hey, maybe a *snap* would work?!
Ah! Trying out some new, tricky footwork to teach everyone in January? ;)
Yes, I will make sure that it is teachable! Actually there is no right or wrong way to perform the DW dance! It's however the DW makes you feel, me, it makes me feel silly and happy!!! :goofy_bounce:

LOL, I just discovered this thread, and I feel so bad that I've missed out so far! I'm just glad that B-babe told me about it a while back anyway....
That having been said... yes, I'm totally excited for you guys, B-babe and B-dude. And of course I'm totally jealous too. But we look forward to a good trip report when you get back. :D

boilerbabe wrote:Thanks Mmeleota! :D I didn't share to make anyone jealous, just know that everyone here understands!!! Family and friends here don't understand, we get eye rolls. And the last time I showed a famiy member pictures from our Disney trip in Dec., they said "I'm surprised you haven't moved here yet!" What?! Seriously?! Hence, the secret except with my Sub family!!! Just b/c we can all find the joy and happiness in Disney!
B-dude has a friend that doesn't understand the addiction, when he told his friend about our Dec. trip last year, his friend made some rude comment about Disney and B-dude told him "you're just jealous b/c I found my happy place!"
We just tell people we're going to Florida. If they really know us well, they know where we are going in Florida. Other people just assume we are going to the beach ~ their loss!
MmeLeota wrote:We've been too. Cbog40 had never been there, so we had to go...but it's been over 10 years. I'm not really interested in going back either. No E.T. no Back to the Future...those 2 were my faves. Plus I have absolutely no desire to see the new King Kong.
ET is closed? Oh no! I loved that attraction :(

Great photo M-Dude! But are you sure that is a DW dance? I don't see any DW  In fact, I don't even see any hands  ;)

They closed ET out in US Hollywood, not yet at USO (although it was closed temporarily after an accident at the park). USO have limited space, so to add new attractions like The Simpsons and Jurassic Park: The Ride some other attractions have to replaced.

ET and the Simpson are in the Studios park, while HP and JP are located in the IoA park. So if you want to ride all of them, you will need to get a two-park pass...

Yeah, it was pretty freaking cold, wasn't it?! I love the cold, but you can see by my body language in that picture that even I was suffering! Poor Mouseoholic was shivering so much that I'm surprised she was even able to take the picture!
Yes, the power of the Dole Whip should never be underestimated. It can take over your senses and force you to break out in a dance just by passing by a place where it's sold... even when they're closed!

Hopefully, given it WILL BE January this time, Boilerdude will pack more pants than just one pair and limit the number of shorts....

I bet he will keep about the same ratio of pants to shorts. You must remember, we are from the midwest and any chance to wear shorts in the winter must be taken! ;)
It might be cold in Florida, but there are no snow drifts or ice on the ground so...yeah, shorts :D

As I remember, he didn't look so happy in those shorts. Freezing is freezing regardless if there's snow or not...

Well, I can be blamed for B-dude having so many shorts since I do his packing! LOL. But, all of our experiences with Nov/Dec were very pleasant. I guess you can say lesson learned! B-dude and I will both have more warmer clothes as well in Jan. You just never know!!! I didn't know FL was so unpredicatable like the NW, Amy can back me up, we can have 4 seasons in 1 day around here!!!

At any rate, we'll be more prepared! We're hoping for great weather in Oct! Last Oct when my mom and I visisted my B/F and Godson, it was actually too warm! Whatever it is, no complaining, we're looking at this as a very big extra bonus trip! We'll make the best out of it and we're trying some new things too which will be fun! :D
