Re: Mark and Len Return to the World
I notice its quite popular to have the built-in memory as opposed to using memory cards. I wonder why so many camcorders have gone this route?

Don't the built in memory units hold more than a memory card? It can really be beneficial since it allows you to take longer uninterrupted videos.mindflipper wrote:I notice its quite popular to have the built-in memory as opposed to using memory cards. BTW: 50 days left and we now have our entire airfare booked as well as all ADRs locked in and good rates on rental cars. Everything is falling into place perfectly!!!

My Flip holds exactly 60 minutes of HD video. I think I can get more on a SDHD card.Len90 wrote:Don't the built in memory units hold more than a memory card? That is great that you are getting the details of the trip together so nicely!

Re: Mark and Len Return to the World
Final payment has been made and there is just 45 days separating me and WDW from each other. BTW: it has already been over a year since we last returned from WDW which marks my longest absensce since the time between our 2006 and 2008 trips.

I did that trip in reverse: San Diego, then Anahiem, then Las Vegas.

Re: Mark and Len Return to the World
We were actually thinking of doing a day in Disneyland but it was just not worth the cost of renting a car to drive up for the day.mindflipper wrote:I did that trip in reverse: San Diego, then Anahiem, then Las Vegas.

I'm thinking another trip to Vegas is calling...since you'll be the "magic" number this yearLen90 wrote:In 2007 we went to Las Vegas/San Diegomindflipper wrote:Why the gap year?Len90 wrote:Final payment has been made and there is just 45 days separating me and WDW from each other. Re: Mark and Len Return to the World
I was there only once in my lifetime. It was the end of Aug. 2001... a little after DCA first opened. I do plan on going there in the near future to see Cars land and WOC. As for Vegas, I can always take the day trip to AC if I really want to gamble. Secondly, I did visit a casino in Montreal this Winter where gambling and drinking are 19. The extent of my gambling was $10.Amy wrote:Len90 wrote:We were actually thinking of doing a day in Disneyland but it was just not worth the cost of renting a car to drive up for the day.mindflipper wrote:I did that trip in reverse: San Diego, then Anahiem, then Las Vegas.Have you ever been to DLR yet? If you could get a really good deal, it really is worth the trip! Plus you could check out the World of Color show!!

Re: Mark and Len Return to the World
So DLR was to celebrate your tenth birthday?
Also, putting the gambling aside, you have to think LV more as a giant theme-park in a way. There are some incredible shows at LV. MmeLeota could probably give you more detail than I can.

True...the gambling is just a minor thing now. These days it's all about the shopping, the shows and the food!mindflipper wrote:So DLR was to celebrate your tenth birthday?

Re: Mark and Len Return to the World
Thanks B-babe! I honestly have the highest expectations for this trip than others since A LOT of work was done to make it possible. I'm working with schedules that didn't want to cooperate and it's been a very rough 13 months between Disney 2010 and this upcoming trip.boilerbabe wrote:Congrats!!!!
