I love the Boardwalk at Christmas, but I imagine that all the resorts are beautiful.

If you're there at Christmas, go through Fort Wilderness Campground and look at the personal displays put up by the Guests. Some of them put up displays worth thousands. Fort Wilderness doesn't do a lot, but they don't need to because of the guest displays. They also go all out to decorate for Haloween.
As far as the hotels go I think I like Wilderness lodge the best.

Oh my gosh, I forgot about Ft. Wilderness!!! TheGreatGonzo is right, you just have to check out all the RV's that are decorated like you would not believe! I think a few of them compete every year. The very best way to view them is to catch a horse drawn hayride in front of Pioneer Hall in the evening. They go around all the best loops with all the decorations. OK, here's what you do, it sounds like Wilderness Lodge is gorgeous at Christmas, so you stay there. Then some evening you take a walk, bike ride, or electric cart drive over to Ft. Wilderness(it's just a short distance from the Lodge), go to the Hoop-De-Doo dinner show, then catch the hayride. Just one more thing, CAN I COME, TOO?
