386 days! I will then be staying at Saratoga springs for 3 weeks, and then moving over to Animal Kingdom Lodge for 1 week!

4 weeks in the world!

I have been checking all the mouse-related websites for closures and such...
I have tweaked some last minute ADRs and double-checked fireworks start times.
This is the hardest part---there's nothing left to do except wait

Hey, H, you may want to check times and stuff again at the very last minute. I remember back on Dec 4th I got surprised with EMH late night hours that I did not see on the website when I checked a week or two earlier...

This is the "week-before-school-starts-whole-family-trip"---it started out as one of those insane, drive down Friday, DHS all day Saturday (for ST2.0), drive home Sunday, but it has turned into a 4 day-3 night adventure at Pop Century. I couldn't swing my beloved POR for this trip. ($)
Even my "take it or leave it" Non-Disney wife is coming along AND my son who said he was "done with Disney" is excited. (As you may remember from my Dec Trip Report

Thanks for the reminder---That happened to me in Dec. also---I remember the feeling of panic when some park hours had changed, just a few days before we were leaving.
I will check early that week we leave.

Like mindflipper said, do last min. checks! And then just bask in the excitment and mentally prepare yourself for your trip!!!

Did you tell him that as he was "done with Disney" and didn't want to go that you were going to leave him behind to watch the house?

I bet that would have freaked him out! Yeh, he wants to be a big kid, but it's hard to give up Disney (he just won't tell other kids about it because he wants to appear that he's outgrown Disney when he's around his friends)....

I have two cousins, brother and sister, who live nearby and she has a teenage son. One Christmas get-together, he was ragging on Disney being "sad" and "lame". His uncle then said, "Sorry to hear you say that, because I had planned to take you to Disney - just me and you - for three days." Suddenly, Disney had become the coolest spot on earth. It's amazing how the tune can change when you're the one who's about to be going for a trip to Disney World...

24 days and 17 hours until the plane leaves the gate!!!

Any substantial changes H or is everything pretty much the same from when you messaged me? I know that we actually had it once where Disney did July 4th hours the day or two before so we were surprised to find out what was going on when we got there. Keep checking up until the day before you leave as things should get finalized with Disney's operating schedule by that point.

Everything is the same here, except I added some magic for the night we arrive--lil surprise for the fam.
But the parks and hours and such are the same since we msgd.

If my math is correct (which has not been the case for many instances this past week) we should be at around 18 days 8 hours until the plane leaves for WDW. After everything I've been through these past 8 months I need at least 8 days of Disney.
