Something I never forget is power strips. We have so much to plug in while at a hotel, cell phones, cameras, computers etc., that we have found that if everyone has their own power strip to plug our stuff into, it's so much easier. It's really hard to find that many outlets in a hotel room for 10 days!

That's a smart idea about the power strips. I know I had just enough outlets to plug in all our electronic gear when we were last there. You're lucky that you live close enough to drive, otherwise the airport luggage fees would make you go bankrupt!

I always bring the 3 way splitter for every trip. I figure that I only need two chargers (camera battery and iPhone) at most going at the same time. I can charge the laptop as needed and everything else can sit overnight. There are usually at least 6 plugs in the Yacht club rooms so it isn't really a huge issue.

Very true! For the upcoming trip we will have a car load of luggage and stuff and it's only the two of us... none of our big kids going!

We leave November 23 for a HUGE family trip. Then we go back at the end of February for Princess half Marathon weekend. I ran Princess 2011 and fully intend on earning my 2012 Tiara medal. So gorgeous!

Good thing the big kids are not going - allows for more luggage room in the car!

Easy - the kids. They can hang onto the roof rack with their hands and feet. You have to tie down the luggage.

If this was my family... we'd be content to jam the luggage in on top of all of us if we could tie my sister to the roof!

Her incessant whining is why my mom has pretty much banned her from WDW vacations now that she is beyond old enough to stay home alone.
