My trip usually is around the first or second week of April, so crowds aren't a big deal to me.

I'm thinking that if you didn't have any really important tests or anything, you should have ditched! Not that I'm recommending that, but I do remember taking a few "mental health" days when I was at college where I went either to the beach or downtown Chicago instead of a class

only 24 hours to go... short weekend trip fri-sun but will be loads of fun! We will be celebrating our Son's 15th birthday this weekend so he is the tour guide, not me! He is doing a ride along at Richard Petty Driving Experience on Sat morning, they drive 160mph on the straight away, he is excited to finally get to do it! Ohana Friday night, Crystal Palace Saturday night, Via Napoli Sunday lunch, and drive back home in the late afternoon. Can't wait......

Isn't getting your 15 year old son used to driving 160 mph setting a bad example for him when he starts driving his own car?
