So...I signed onto the work laptop this morning and an Outlook reminder popped up that read: "Check-in!"
You know what that means..10 days!!!!!

BTW...I saw this coupon on FB. If anyone is headed down between Dec 19th and Jan 1--you can get 30% off of a QS meal during certain times.
I'm on the (free) DDP, so I shouldn't need, but I printed a few just in case.

110 DAYS!!!!! I'm beyond excited. As some of you know, I'll be turning 50 in April. Last year Chuy and I agreed to go to Barcelona for the big event. But over the last few months I've been feeling that my heart really wants to be at WDW. As a child, every time my mom asked me what I wanted for my birthday dinner I would say, "Columbia Harbour House!". But we were never there during my birthday. So today, thanks to my AMAZING, AMAZING friend's very generous magic wand waving, I'll be staying at the Contemporary (Magic Kingdom view thank-you-very-much) from April 4-9, then boarding a plane to Barcelona for 4 days! I'm truly, truly blessed. What a start to the next chapter of my life!!

Thanks Amy! I'm so giddy I can hardly work. Yeah, most people think I'm in my 30s--I was blessed with my grandma's great skin. And I plan on eating TWO meals there that day I booked the Contemporary last night so all I have to do is book Hotel Jazz in Barcelona tonight and I'm set. I'll rack up 9,500 frequent flyer miles with Continental on this trip. Hmmmm, free plane tickets in my future for another trip to WDW to use up that old hopper pass I found???? I think yes!

And just let me say Amy, as I read the great trip reports of the MM trip, you are a beautiful woman!! Your smile is amazing and I would LOVE to be at WDW sometime with you as I think we would have a great time.

Aww shucks Thanks! I definitely hope to meet more fellow subsonicers on a future trip. I only wish we could have spent more time together causing mayhem this time.
We had to upgrade to an annual pass for this trip since we were there 13 days so I know we will be heading back at least once before 12/02/11!!

Yes, we purchased on 12/2/10 so it runs thru 12/2/11 so really it gives you 366 days (except in a leap year) so that is nice. I have tried to explain it to my mom a few times, since she thinks the tickets extend until the last date of your stay, in our case 12/14 Sorry Mom, the mouse doesn't appreciate your business that much!

Actually, a minor clarification here: the annual passes run by the date you first use them. So if you buy it now, but don't actually go for another two weeks, for example, the clock will not start ticking until you actually use it to enter a park for the first time. Pretty cool, huh?
