Nice shots of Space Mountain with the lights on! I would love to have the opportunity to ride it with the lights on ~ just to see what it looks like. Then I probably wouldn't ever want to ride it again....I've heard the clearances are pretty close

I'm not sure if the Mouse Couple hold us responsible?!?
Cool shots mindflipper! I know what you mean Amy, after seeing SM with the lights on...the clearance kinda freaks me out!

Kind of looks like the 12 pipe still at BP's refinery in Whiting, IN.

Actually, B-babe, we're holding the Mousekecouple responsible for trying to corrupt you with the Duffy.
As for Space Mtn, I agree with you and Amy about the clearances. Having seen it this way many years ago, I have since never riden it with my waving arms & hands in the air above me. Just to be safe.
I was amazed by all the walkways encircling it.

I'm with ya now mindflipper!!! I'm alright!
Back in either 2001 or 2002, can't remember exactly, just know it was when we went to run the "10K Classic" at the time. We rode SM and the ride stopped! They had to turn the lights on, a CM came to get us and we had to exit the ride and take the winding stairs and emerged from behind the scenes! It was rather crazy! Since then, I've have kept myself tucked into the ride vehicle!

I thought it looked like an electric generating station. Maybe it's like looking at the clouds in the sky - everyone sees a different "shape" in the clouds.

Sadly, no on the IR3 monorail. Most of those shots were early in the morning - very early. The sun was just coming up.

Nice photo's. The people mover shots bring back fond memories of being stuck. The cast members treated everyone escorted off the ride like kings and queens. The cast members made the experience run very smooth.

The Dwarf's Mine Ride is supposed to be a little more thrilling than BTM due to the way the ride cars sway back and forth. I really hope in Feb they are at least testing!

You might want to follow/check in on WDW's official twitter feeds while you are there since they may utilize that for communicating soft openings.

Do they give free FPs out at WDW through their twitter feeds? They do at DLR, they basically say where they are and anyone who comes up to them gets a pass until they run out.
