It's all one in the same.
There's always a trip brewing in the back of my mind...now how to put it into action :)
EXACTLY... I'm blessed with kids that love Disney (no thanks to me, I'm SURE) and my wife knows how much I love it, so she kind of caved this year when she saw the great deal we got. We're doing the Kids Play Free package.

ADR's booked and ready for August trip. Hopefully, no changes will need to be made (I think Madre & I changed every ADR we had in December!).

We have:
Whispering Canyon Cafe for dinner (1st time)
Kona Cafe for dinner (1st time)
Mama Melrose for dinner (? time, I believe I went at least once when I was younger)
Akershus Princess Dining in Norway for dinner (1st time for dinner)
Tusker House Character Breakfast (1st time)
1900 Park Fare for dinner (1st time)

Wow I am a bit jealous of all of your upcoming trips to the world.

I've looked over your ADR arrangement and do like that you have all the parks/areas covered. The Tusker House breakfast might be a bit of a let down, except for the fact that they have Daisy. There are definitely a lot better places for a character breakfast in terms of food, service, and all around bang for your buck. The Whispering Canyon should be fun if you and your family are looking to have a good time and can take a joke or two. The CM's do a great job of sticking to their characters and it should be a blast. The Princess Dining will be a great thing for your daughter. 1900 Park Fare I have not been to for dinner but did have breakfast there last year. It is by far my favorite breakfast place in the world. They have the most extensive buffet of all the places (make your own omelet, ice cream, etc) and when I was there they had a lot of characters (Mary Poppins, Alice, Hatter, Pooh, Tigger). The Kona Cafe is a great little place for a meal. We ate there in 2008 and the food was fantastic.

I had done Mama Melrose long ago, and back then it was good. I did Akershus once some years ago during lunch, and it wasn't bad. It's been decades since I ate at Contemporary, and I haven't done any of the others. I know Len90 did breakfast at 1900, but I have no idea if he's done lunch or dinner there. Good luck with your 1st time tries!

We've only been to Mama Melrose ~ and like mindflipper, it has been many years ago. But I do remember it as being tasty. Of course, with Italian food, almost all of that is tasty :D

Len - Thanks and don't be jealous, you'll be spending a lot more time in the parks before I will when you go for the Summer. This month is really only a half-a-day at the MK and half at DTD. Also, on the Tusker House, I wanted to eat at a restaurant in AK, but the rest of my family doesn't like Asian style food, so Yak & Yeti is out. Breakfast was the safe option for them... :(

Amy/mf - Yeah, I like trying new things. I'd like to throw in BOMA or Yak & Yeti but like I said above, the rest of my family doesn't stray too far away from traditional American cuisine. :(

It's amazing how kids can be so adventuresome to ride thrill rides and roller coasters, yet that sense of adventure rarely extends to their taste buds.

Tying this in to trying to get them to experience It's Tough To Be A Bug, maybe you could convince them that they could let them eat any critters that scare them during the show, and then you could take them for some Asian couisine?!

WWDRH - Yes, but we got some bad news yesterday regarding Dad's cancer rearing it's ugly head again. So, important Dr's Appt on Friday and the fact that the parks are still pretty crowded for a one day trip may cause us to cancel this one. We're thinking about switching it to Saturday instead of Friday if we still go. I'll keep y'all posted. This would be a bittersweet trip...

Sorry, NaCler. I can relate to family health scares/problems. Seems 2011 has been a bad year so far for many of us: MmeLeota/Cbog40, Mousekedude, and myself. We really don't want you to join this group; I just hate to see that list getting longer...
