You know....I would be very happy with a view of the castle and fireworks from the Contemporary. Any woman would..... It's the thought that counts. :mickey:

Oh, NOW she tells me! (kidding)

Seriously, though, guys: if your sweetie tells you that.... don't believe her!!!
(kidding again, I know she's really sincere)

Love you, sweetie! :D

OMG! M-dude!!!! That was so sweet! I teared up! Mouseoholic, I'd say you definitely have a keeper there!

My DH would never think of something like that...maybe I should nudge him to read this board to get some ideas... ;)

...sorry, didn't mean to get all mushy here

It's quite alright, dear. It makes me all warm and fuzzy to know that people are enjoying this so far. Stay tuned for the rest of the story! We're working on it a little at a time, as we find the time.

MmeLeota, sounds like your husband needs to be visited n the course of one dark night by three ghostly spirits: the Ghost of Disney Past, the Ghost of Disney Present, and the Ghost of Disney Future. Hopefully, once he drunk the sweet nectar of the Milk of Disney Park Wonder, he'll become a true converted Disney Nut like the rest of us. Being married to a Disney Nut, he should come up with this kind of stuff - there's so much opportunity out there, there's really no limit to what "special" event he should come up with....

The scary part is...he's a Disney nut too. He just needs a little help with using his imagination....and keeping his mouth shut. He can't keep a secret.

For our first anniversary, we went to DL and I surprised him with a cake at Plaza Inn. He was so shocked!

A few years later, we stayed at the DL Hotel for a night and he had a small cake sent to our room. The dead giveaway that something was up was that he told me we would go back to the room that afternoon, but not before 3.

Though I knew he had something going on in the room, I did not know it was a cake. I appreciated the thought though :)

Mmleota, that sounds like something my DH would do! He's not very creative (but I love you Sweetie) and we're both terrible with secrets!

GREAT trip report! Love hearing the special touches. On our last trip I surprised my wife with having the room all decked out with flowers, wine, chocolate and castle confetti everywhere for our 6th anniversary but how you also made an "in-park" experience come to life is pure genius Mouskedude, well done indeed.

MmeLeota, maybe your DH needs to hire Mousekedude as his "creative consultant".
