Booked this morning for 4 days in December! Can't wait!

Flying down from Montana with my wife to meet my parents, brothers, and brother- and sister-in-law (the latter two will be going for the first time at age 15 and 17). First December trip, can't WAIT! Last visit to WDW was in 2006 for the honeymoon.

I am so envious of all of you going to DW in December. We try to go every year in Dec to celebrate 2 of our daughters and my husbands birthday. But this year we are adding yet another December baby to our Disney loving clan so we won't be making it.. sniff sniff. I hope all of you have a wonderful time.

I'm sorry that you can't make it in December (it's my favorite time to go). But...congrats on your new addition! :D It's a worthy cause for giving up a trip. I have to give up half of football season for the same reason. ;)

Next trip...5 nights at the Wilderness Lodge for a long Labor Day weekend. Went for several nights last December. It is a great time to go if you go early in the month.

Thanks! Yeah, I wouldn't complain if he came a few days short of 12. ;)

That's a good point. Disney World with your own kids has to be such a cool (and different) experience. I look forward to it.

Haha, yeah, I bet. Although, it would most definitely not go over too well if my parents tried to go without us.

We are only 2 hours outside of Disney so it's been easy in the past to sneak away for a day or two.. but that was before.. My kids are now 7 and 5 and they don't miss thing.. so I can't see us sneaking off any more.

If I may ask, which direction outside of Disney are you? North, South, or West?

We are North just outside Jacksonville. I see you are even closer than us. :)

1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic and the highway patrol. The climate and the proximity to WDW are the only things keeping me in Florida.

I lived about 45 minutes north of Jacksonville (in Brunswick, GA), and it took us about 4 hours to get to Disney. That was as close as I lived, but good enough for a nice weekend trip.

Wow, from Brunswick to Buffalo? Those are two totally different worlds.
