OMG! I did Disney on My honeymoon! There are Couples' massages at the grand floridian!
We stayed at the Wilderness lodge, and we had balloons, chocolate, and a signed photo of mickey and Minnie waiting for us when we got there! We also rented a driver to take us to and from the airport.. .which was VERY NICE... he was waiting at the airport with our names on a card!
The Contempory is the BEST! The Rooms are huge, and you have to monorail RIGHT there (and you can WALK to the MK if you want)! Any of the Bay Lake resorts are awesome! There is also the California grill on the top floor... VERY GOOD FOOD!
There are Awesome Tours you can take as well. Birnbaum's is the best disney book out there for planning (at least that I've found) http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/ASIN/0 ... 01-0551526 WELL WORTH IT

"A Very Merry Un-Birthday To You!"
I do not know if they still do this, or how to go about arranging it, but at the Living Seas, we used to take signs down to the Coral Reef restaurant windows for special occasions.
I proposed 8 times through the windows on behalf of other people (8 yes's). I also took down birthday and anniversary signs.

Aaron

Flatland,
As I stated in my post, I do not know how the arrangements were made. You may want to try calling the Coral Reef Restaurant.
I know that you will need a priority seating reservation. The signs could be made by Disney or provided by you (had both occur while I was there). I assume that there may also be a charge, but again, I never was on that side of things so my knowledge is limited.
Regards,
Aaron

Back on the honeymoon thread... It's well worth it to get the"Magic your way premium" or "Platinum" option when booking to stay on Disney property on your honeymoon. There's the little boats you can take out in Bay lake, as well as parasailing, waterskiing, and alligator slalom (just kidding...hehehe) I think, you can also swim w/ the dolphins through a the living seas (you may want to call WAY in advance) There is also the Richard Petty Driving experience (it could be fun!) OH! And don't forget to get a meal at the Whispering Canyons Cafe at the Wilderness lodge (you can take a bus there or a boat from the MK, or the contempory (they'll make you dance if they find out you were just married... hehe .. FUN!) Don't forget the waterparks either... (Blizzard beach has better slides than Typhoon lagoon.. although you can snorkel at T.L.) WAYYYYYY TOOO MUCH FUN!

I think there are a couple of versions too. A semi-private one (where each passenger pays something like $150) but that one would have you in a boat with strangers. I also believe there is a private one where you basically rent the whole boat. Not sure what the price of that one is but you can be pretty sure it's expensive!Captain Schnemo wrote:Not sure if they still do it, but there used to be a "cruise" available where they'd take you in a boat to watch Illuminations directly on the lagoon at Epcot. (You watch it under the bridge by France.)
That was a lot of fun, and pretty romantic.
No one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining.

Even if they are I would never recommend that on anyone, especially those seeking romance. I would say just about any in-park restaurant with the exception of a few at Epcot, like the Reef and maybe the French place etc., are very unromantic, with a lot of noise and casually dressed sweaty peopleMouseMan wrote: If they are Lady and the Tramp fans; how about a romantic Italian meal at Tony's on Mainstreet!
