Mindflipper is correct. We are only able to do Disney in the summer. One day, I will get there for the holiday lights. :D

Just have Days 6 and 7 left. I must say, that I am extremely impressed by the level of detail in each day. The bus incident really does give me a nasty taste in my mouth. I'm not sure if it is the fact that it wasn't tended to immediately or that the driver continued about the route with that protein spill around. I guess we all experience protein spills in the parks. I do recall two teacups being out of commission on my previous trip and a custodial CM began tending to one during my ride cycle. I do find your resort exploration day to be something very interesting. I do find the theming of Disney resorts to be amazing and I can only imagine how much better they are with appropriately themed holiday decorations.

I think I only have two more days left to read. Hopefully I can read them after reviewing some things for my quiz tomorrow.

If we can do another MM meet-up someday, maybe it should be DHS next time so we can do the holiday lights? Unfortunately, Len, Rutgers lets you out for the holiday sooo late I can't see that you would still make it for the meet-up unless we did between Christmas and New Year's Day!

Oh ~ I can't even imagine having to clean up a protein spill while you yourself are whirling around in circles!! :(

You've got your whole life ahead of you--you'll see those lights eventually!! :)

Keep reading Len to see how it all ends (yes, it ends ;) )
Thanks for the praise--I appreciate it. I had a great, great time by myself that day. Just me and WDW--all for the taking :)

Must be hard to clean up a protein spill when you're adding to it!

Just got done reading days 6 and 7. I wouldn't worry about your son not wanting to go back next year. It's a phase of his life that he will rapidly grow out of. I definitely feel your pain about leaving on the last day. I always wonder if it is tougher to leave from your resort in the morning or from a park later in the day. Glad to see you had a blast and I thoroughly enjoyed reading your report!

Oh yeah, did you enjoy your bus ride going to MK on Christmas? That picture was taken aboard one of the 10 new Nova LFs buses ;)

I think it is much worse to have to leave directly from your hotel. We only got to go on the Haunted Mansion the morning we left but it was still one more attraction than if we had left from the All Stars ;)
Leave it to you to recognize the buses Len  I have some from on board too ~ so we will have to see if you recognize them as well ;)

Len: You crack me up....I was headed to the MK...on Christmas. They could have taken us there on a mule and I wouldn't have noticed! Honestly, the only bus that looked any different to me was the one with the protein on it
And how on earth do you know that's what bus it was? How can you tell?
You amaze me with your WDW Transportation knowledge...

Couple of things actually give away the bus to me. I can tell it is a Nova LFS by the following aspects: Front door, decals on the front of the bus, Emergency exit glass break away, front dash compartment, and the handle bar at the very front of the bus. I can tell it's a a brand new one by the ceiling. Finally I confirmed everything through the number above the rear view mirror. It is 5002-10... a 2010 Nova LFS. Okay, so I'm a bit observant of everything :D

That's funny Len! I went back and looked at the picture...I can see everything you listed but mostly I see a sad #1 son on his last day of vacation!

:D It might also have something to do with the fact that Rutgers has a fleet of Nova LFS buses that I unfortunately ride too often.

Y'know, you didn't need to reveal that. It's very awe-deflating... :(

I agree---I was amazed that you could spot all that just from a few visits to WDW...
...and from one slightly blurry photo of my sad son... ;)

Mindflipper, I can still spot out things on the other makes of buses and we don't have those at RU. Henry, it's not only the buses. I always enjoy looking at all the small background details in the pictures. It's always fun to spot those things and really is another reason I like Disney. They do a great job of hiding things the guest is not really supposed to see.
