Len... Bad news... I tried to pickup a Toll House cookie from the Main Street Bakery on Saturday and they said that they don't serve them anymore... Apparently they have trans-fat in them (who knew?

) and Disney is going away from all trans-fat foods. They did have a chocolate chip cookie that must be a new recipe but I opted for the Rice Krispie Mickey instead so I can't tell you how it measures up to the Toll House.

What a bummer about the cookies! I wonder how this "new rule" is going to affect DL...

Well, at least the Dole Whip has no trans fat!!!!!

OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! That is a huge bummer. I honestly don't understand the point in making a healthy Chocolate Chip Cookie.

Secondly, I really think that everything I eat at WDW has to have some trans fats or other unhealthy stuff in it. Eating unhealthy is part of the fun of going away to Disney. I know deep down that I will walk it off

I will definitely try the new one hoping that it can measure up somewhat to the classic Toll House cookie. My feelings of the "new" cookie will be included. However, let's not look forward to the trip report. As we all know that comes after the vacation is over and I don't want to think about that just yet. We are soon entering the most exciting time which is the weeks just prior to going away.

It is coming along nicely. Most of the main work is complete. All the dining is pretty much finalized, the rental car rates have been priced, but still waiting on airfare to drop for the flight going out (it is slowly going down). Other than that, it is just organizing everything so we are set to go on what should be a hassle free vacation.

I hope your parents realize how lucky they are that you take over all this planning! That is a lot of work

It is great to take part in the planning process. I find it helps make the trip extra special knowing that all your hard work pays off when everything flows perfectly.
For the past few trips I have increased my part in the planning. When it comes to restaurant decisions; Mom, Dad, Mark86, and I pick out the places we want to eat. I work along with my mom on making up the days we can eat at each restaurant according to the Extra Magic Hours. Finally, Mom makes the call for the reservations. I am fully in charge of the airfare and split the rental car pricing with mom. All in all, there is a ton of work that needs to go into the vacation. I honestly think they appreciate it but know deep down I enjoy doing this stuff!

Nope it's the Yacht Club again. 2 reasons: I just can't pass up the pool and this year we should be in a refurbished room... It is like staying at a brand new resort.
