We only had about 45 minutes before we had to leave and make the trek to the Poly for the meet up, so we knew we weren’t going to have time to fully enjoy our favorite part of the park…World Showcase. So we decided to at least walk part way from Canada since we had gone Mexico way earlier.
We heard a little bit of Off Kilter as we walked by.
*Soarin08, if you wish to skip this part, we understand*
The UK was up next...

So we wanted a little snack, and the UK pavilion was up next. We passed by the little Fish and Chips stand and we got some chips. Oh my goodness!!!! I don’t know why, but they were so delicious!!! Perhaps because they were fresh out of the fryer, but for whatever reason, they were yummy!
*Ok Soarin08, you can read this report again… *
We made it over to Morocco (with MoRockin playing in the background) and we were about to turn around and go back, when a Friendship boat was pulling up to the dock. Sweet! We hitched a ride on the boat and headed back toward Future World and sadly said goodbye to EPCOT.
I couldn't tell which Friendship boat we were on, and this was the only picture we were able to get.
Goodnight EPCOT
We caught the monorail to the TTC, then caught the resort monorail to the Poly. While on the monorail, I didn’t know why I kept feeling compelled to glance over at the guy facing me on the other end of the car. (I promise I'm not a creepy stalker...

) Since our stop came up first, we hopped off and headed down to the lobby. We didn’t see anyone yet and Cbog40 decided to wander around a bit. So I sat in the lobby and there was the guy from the monorail. Cbog40 came back and I saw the monorail guy walk by again…then I saw a few familiar faces and as we got up to head toward the Mousecouple and Mindflipper, I saw monorail guy walk up to them too! Wait a minute…is that…NaCler? Lo and behold it was!!! He had not been wearing a hat or else I probably would have recognized him right away…but that explains why I felt compelled to glance at him on the monorail. I guess subconciously I thought I knew him...

We walked over to Captain Cook’s to wait for everyone else to arrive so we could grab our DWs and head out to the beach. Sadly, the Boilers had to pass on the meet up since boilerbabe needed to take it easy after her run that morning.

We were sad, but her health is much more important. (plus we didn’t have to hide the rum from boilerdude

) Once we were all gathered (and we were all introduced and given a wonderful gift from the Mousecouple

) we got our yummy pineapple treats and headed outside. We talked and happily ate (or in some cases drank…

) down the DWs while we awaited the fireworks.
Here are the fabulous mugs that the Mousecouple so graciously gave to each Marauder.
Hmmm...a bunch of Maurauders just looking for some Mayhem...
Mayhem invades Captain Cook's
Waiting for Wishes...Mousekedude, cccmouse, yodiwan1, yodiwan1's friend (sorry, I don't remember her name

), MadEye (back turned), MadEye's girlfriend (I think), and Soarin08 (on her phone

)
As Wishes began, we quickly realized that we were going to get a 2-for-1 show as the Electrical Pageant was also out in the bay, but running without the music. It made for some interesting pics though!
Afterward, we all kinda went our own ways. But while in the lobby, I realized I had forgotten one very important thing that I had been carrying around all day just for this night…

Yep, the “infamous” CHI!!!!!

I can’t believe I almost didn’t get to share it with any MMs!
Unfortunately (or fortunately…depends who you ask

), there was one particular MM who was getting a little out of hand…
Since the CHI had a bit of a workout, we decided to head back to the room to let it rest.

Plus earlier in the day, Soarin08 so graciously asked us to join her the next day at the parks! How completely awesome!!! It was going to be a big day, so we wanted to get plenty of rest…(yeah, right…way too excited)
When we finally made it back to the resort, we both realized that we were kinda hungry since we really hadn't eaten since lunch (aside from the yummy chips before the meetup...and the RSDW at the meet up of course

). So we headed to Old Port Royale and decided on a couple of sweets from the grab-n-go and some chicken nuggets and fries for something hot and savory...and easy to split...and FAST since we were both exhausted and hungry. A group of girls were in front of me and were waiting on the side. I ordered the chicken (but had not yet paid since it was set up cafeteria style) and proceeded to wait for my order. In the meantime several other guests put in their orders. They brought up an order of chicken and one of the girls in the group stepped forward to take them figuring it was hers. No problem...I had no clue what they ordered. Then there were 2 trays full of food that the rest of the girls ordered (along with another order of chicken on their tray). One by one each guest picked up their food as I stood there waiting. The CM asked what I was waiting for and I told him that I just had an order of chicken. He went back to check for the order slip and couldn't find it. So he helped a few more guests and they all got their food...while I was still waiting.

Ok, now I was getting cranky. I tried to explain what I believed to have happened (I think the one girl took my order not realizing that hers was going to be all together with the rest of her group's order) and the CM seemed to have an "aha!" moment...there had been a some breaks happening around the time I ordered so I think that contributed to the confusion as well...he went into the back, got the order of chicken and smiled at me and apologized. He said "these are on the Mouse".

He caught me off guard, so all I could think to do was smile and thank the CM...then proceeded back to the table. I had to tell the whole story to Cbog40 since he had been going crazy waiting for me...at least he had his pastry to help curb his hunger a bit. We finished our snack and headed back to the room.

It was a fabulous, magical ending to one AMAZING day!!!
Nighty-night!

To Soarin08, the Mousecouple and mindflipper...you are all truly amazing people and cannot thank you enough for making this day completely unforgettable!
